ENERGY SOURCE
This device is designed for AC/DC power supply.
POWER SUPPLY FROM THE NETWORK
Connect one end of the mains power cable to a mains socket (AC 100 – 240 V~,
50/60 Hz) on devices and the other end with a plug into the mains socket in
the home. The battery is automatically disconnected.
POWER SUPPLY FROM BATTERIES
Open the BATTERY COMPARTMENT DOOR. Insert 6 UM-2/C batteries (not included)
into this space part of the accessories). The arrangement and polarity of the
batteries is marked in the battery compartment. Always comply the correct
polarity of the batteries.
WARNING
If the batteries are dead or if you are not going to use them for a long time,
remove them from the device.
PHONE CONNECTOR (Headphones)
If you want to listen to music in private, connect a 3.5 mm headphone jack to
the PHONE jack (not included part of the accessories). The output from the
speakers will automatically stop.
NOTICE:
LONG-TERM LOUD LISTENING HAS AN ADVERSE EFFECT ON HUMAN HEARING.
BASIC FUNCTIONS
ON/OFF DEVICE
Press the button FUNCTION to turn on the device; to turn off the device,
press FUNCTION and hold the button.
Note: If the device is idle for more than 15 minutes in CD/MP3/USB/BT/AUX mode, it will to automatic shutdown. Press the button again to turn on the device. If your source (e.g. mobile phone) is set to low output volume in BT or AUX-IN mode, so the SPT 2700 evaluates “missing audio signal” and automatically shuts down.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
Press the VOLUME+ or VOLUME- button to increase or decrease the volume.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
- Press the button FUNCTION repeatedly to select the FM band.
- Tune in to the desired station by pressing the or button on the device – it will appear on the display band frequency. Example: FM 97.15 MHz.
- To optimize reception when listening to stations in the FM band, extend the telescopic antenna to its full extent length.
- Press the button to select additional functions.
AUTOMATIC SEARCH OF RADIO STATIONS
Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button on the device – the device will start
automatic search and saving programs with a strong signal. After the search is
complete, the P01 program starts. Press the M.+ button or M. – to directly
listen to the stored station.
USING THE MEMORY PRESETS OF RADIO STATIONS
You can store up to 30 favorite radio stations (FM) in the memory, which you
can then quickly and directly tune without having to tune and search for them
again.
- Press the or button to select the first desired station. Then press the MEM/PMODE button on the device – “PROGRAM” will light up and “P01” will flash on the display.
- Use the M.+ or M.- buttons to select the desired sequence to save and then press MEM/P-MODE button on the device to confirm.
- Search for another station and repeat steps (1) and (2) until all desired stations are stored. Up to 30 stations can be programmed.
- Press the M.+ or M.- button to directly listen to the saved station.
CD/MP3 PLAYBACK
Playback discs
This system only supports playback of digital audio CDs, finalized digital
CD-R audio discs (recordable CDs), finalized CD-RW digital audio discs
(rewritable CDs) and CD/CD-R/CD-RW digital audio discs in CD-DA format.
INSERT DISC
- Press the button FUNCTION to select “CD” mode.
- Press the PUSH TO OPEN button to open the CD drive door – “OP” will appear on the display (OPEN).
- Insert the audio CD into the drive with the front side facing up.
- Close the CD drive door. The display will show a flashing “- – -”, the total number of tracks and if the disc contains several folders, also the total number of folders. Playback starts from the first track.
- To remove the CD, press the STOP button to stop playback and then the PUSH TO button OPEN to open the CD drive door – the display will show “OP” (Open). Grab the CD by its edges and carefully remove it.
Note:
- Before opening the CD drive door, make sure that the disc playback is stopped (the disc is does not rotate).
- To ensure proper system function, wait until the device is fully loaded before continuing the entire disk.
- If no disc is inserted in the drive or if the disc is unreadable, the display will show “NO” (No disc).
PLAYING A DISC
- After loading the disc, the device starts playing from track no. 1. An indicator will appear on the display “ ” and the current track. You can pause playback by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button. The ” ” indicator will flash and on the display the current track number will be displayed. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
- To stop playback, press the STOP button – the display will show the total number of tracks.
CHOOSING THE DESIRED TRACK/PASSAGE
Selecting the desired track
In stop playback mode or in playback mode, press the or button so that the
desired track appeared on the display. Playback starts automatically. If the
device is in mode stopped playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start
playback.
Search for a specific passage during playback (high-speed track search)
Press and hold the or button to scan the currently playing track at high
speed; release this button after finding the desired place of the passage.
Playback will restart from this places.
Selecting a song with a track number higher than 10
You can select a song/track with a number exceeding 10 by pressing the
10/M/FOLD.- or 10/M/ FOLD.+.
Selecting the desired folder (for an MP3 disc containing more than one
folder)
To select the desired folder during playback, press and hold 10/M/FOLD.- or
10/M/ FOLD.+.
TRACK PROGRAMMING
Programming of disc tracks can be done while playback is stopped. You can memorize store up to 20 CD tracks or 99 MP3 tracks in any order.

In the stop mode, press the MEM./P-MODE button – the display starts to flash PROGRAM and displays
with P01. -
Press the , , 10/M/FOLD.- or 10/M/FOLD.+ button to select the first desired track that you want to program. Press the MEM./P-MODE button to confirm. P02 will appear on the display.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to store additional desired tracks until all tracks have been programmed.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback from the first programmed track.

To stop playing the program, press the STOP button. To delete the program, you can when the disc playback is stopped, press the STOP button and open the CD compartment lid – the program will be deleted.
REPEAT PLAY
Repeat playback of one track
- In playback mode, press the MEM./P-MODE button once – “REPEAT” starts flashing on the display (Repetition). The current track will play continuously over and over again until you press the button STOP.
- To cancel the repeat function, press the MEM./P-MODE button so that the indication disappears from the display “REPEAT” (Repeat).
Repeat playback of all tracks
- In playback mode, press the MEM./P-MODE button twice – “REPEAT” will light up on the display (Repeat) and all tracks on the disc will be played repeatedly until you press the button STOP.
- To cancel repeat playback, press the MEM./P-MODE button so that the indication “REPEAT” (Repeat) went out.
Repeat folder playback (only for MP3 disc containing more than one folder)
- Press the MEM./P-MODE button on the device so that “REPEAT FOLDER” lights up on the display (Folder repeat). The current folder will be played repeatedly until pressed STOP button on the device.
- To cancel repeat playback, press the MEM./P-MODE button on the device so that the display “REPEAT FOLDER” indication went out.
RANDOM PLAY
In playback mode, press the MEM./P-MODE button so that “RAN” (Random) lights up on the display. Random play will automatically start from the next track (or press the skip button on the CD forward) and will continue until all tracks are played before stopping. Press to cancel MEM./P-MODE button again so that the indication “RAN” (Random) disappears from the display.
PLAYING FROM USB
1. Press the button FUNCTION on the device to select “USB” mode.
2. Connect the USB device to the USB input. The LCD will show “- – -” and
then the total number of tracks and folders stored on USB. After loading the
USB device, it will automatically start playing from tracks 1.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause or resume playback.
4. Press the STOP button to stop playback. The display shows the total number
of saved tracks in a USB device.
5. Repeat playback functions (repeat one track – repeat folder – repeat all)
/ shuffle / skip forward and back work the same as is described in the “CD/MP3
PLAYBACK” chapter above.
NOTICE:
Considering the number of devices on the market, compatibility and playback
support for all media. You should test or format the memory devices you want
to connect in advance FAT32 file format. Playback of protected media, files or
content stored in them may not succeed.
USING BLUETOOTH
- Press the button to switch the device to the BLUETOOTH function – it will start quickly on the LCD display flash “bt”.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device, search for “SPT 2700” and connect it. After that if prompted, enter the password 0000 – BT will light up on the display to indicate completion connection. Start playback on your mobile phone by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button on device to start/stop playback. If the device does not connect to your device within 2 minutes, turn off, turn on the SPT 2700 device and repeat the Bluetooth pairing.
- Press the VOLUME buttons to select the desired volume level.
- Press the or button on the device to select the desired track.
- You can stop the playback by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button.
Note: To ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, keep the distance within 10 meters between BT speaker and connected device.
USING EXTERNAL INPUT
This device is equipped with a 3.5 mm AUX IN connector (External input), through which you can connect and amplify other audio signal sources to this device.
- Select “AUX” FUNCTION mode by pressing the button on the device.
- Connect one end of the audio cable (not included in the accessory) to the AUX IN connector (External input) and the other end to the AUDIO OUT connector on the external audio signal source.
- To start playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the external audio signal source (e.g. MP3 players).
Notice:
before connecting your device and BT speaker, make sure the output signal from
your device is at minimum level (minimum output volume). This will prevent
damage to the BT speaker. During connection of the BT audio cable, the speaker
does not meet the waterproof cover.
MAINTENANCE OF CD DISCS
- Always use compact discs with this label.
- Disc handling notes
- Removing the disc from the package and inserting it into the device.
- Do not touch the reflective recording surface.
- Do not stick or write anything on the surface of the disc.
- Do not bend the disc.
- Storage
- Store the disc in its case.
- Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high temperatures, high humidity or dusty environment.
- Disk cleaning
- If the disc becomes dirty, remove dust, dirt and fingerprints with a soft cloth.
- Clean the disc by moving from the center of the disc to its edges.
- Never use benzene, thinners, cleaning fluids or antistatic sprays.
- Make sure the CD drive door is closed to prevent contamination of the lens dust.
- Do not touch the lens.

Warranty conditions
The warranty card is not part of the device package. The seller provides the buyer with a 24-month warranty for the product from the time it is taken over by the buyer. Guaranteed provides further under the conditions below. The warranty applies only to consumer goods sold to the consumer for normal home use. Rights from responsibility for errors (complaints) can be exercised by the buyer eitherat the seller from whom the product was purchased or at the authorized service listed below. The buyer is obliged to apply the claim without unnecessary delay, so that the error does not worsen, but no later than end of the warranty period. The buyer is obliged to cooperate in the verification of the existence of the claimed defect. Only complete and uncontaminated due to compliance with hygiene regulations are accepted into the complaint process the product. In the case of a justified complaint, the warranty period is extended by the period from the moment of application of the complaint until the moment of acceptance of the repaired product by the buyer, when the buyer is obliged to purchase the product after the repair take over.
