User Manual for 5G WIFI Wireless HD 720P License Plate Backup Camera
Compatible Smart Devices:
First of all, for any device, to use our 5G WIFI Car Camera, it must support
Double Band WIFI (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) in WLAN function, if
you are not sure, you can check it in your device’s official website.(iPhone 4
or above supports Double Band WIFI) Secondly, Android 5 operating system or
above and IOS 7 operating system or above.
NOTE: For old or cheap Android devices, they usually don’t support Double
Band WIFI, please check twice to confirm before connecting it with our 5G WIFI
Car Camera.

Main Functions:
- Parking Assistance
Can be used as both rear view or front view camera since you can flip the image in the APP.\
- Taking Photos and Recording Videos
On the APP’s Camera page, there are two icons, one for taking pictures and the other for recording videos. The files will be saved on your device, you can view them on the APP’s Gallery page and share them with others.
- Intelligent Voice Call Startup
You can start the APP by voice call without manual operation on both Android and IOS devices even on a black screen.
- Adjustable Guide Line
Long press the guideline in the horizontal screen state of the device, then you can adjust it to be wider, narrower, higher, lower. You can also turn off the guideline on the APP Settings page.

Screen Image Auto Rotation
By putting the device in a horizontal state, the screen will rotate and turn into a full screen automatically. -
Adjustable Camera Body
The camera body angle can be adjusted by about 90 degrees, after adjusting to the right angle, you can fix the screws. -

2. Connect the Camera to a 12V 200mA Power Supply—reversing lights/running lights/tail lights/brake lights/other suitable power supply, we suggest that you connect it to an ACC 12V constant power supply
3. Enter WIFI settings and connect to WIFI hotspot starting with “car….”
4. Open the JoyTrip App to view the image from the camera
ATTENTION:

The APP may pop up some prompts to request some permissions, such as reading the location, privacy policy introduction or connecting to the WLAN, etc., please click Agree/Confirm/Allow/…, or give the APP the highest permission, otherwise the APP may not be used properly(usually no image).

For Android Devices, if you want to use your mobile network data while using the APP, please ignore the message “This WLAN network has no internet access. Connect anyway?”, that means passing this message by clicking or Skidding to somewhere else without pressing YES or NO. If you already pressed “CONNECT”, then you can’t use the mobile network data, the camera still works well.
If you want to reset it, please ignore the connected WIFI hotspot and reconnect. -
Most other APPs will not allow using of mobile network data while using the APP.
For IOS Devices, if you want to use your mobile network data while using the APP, please click WLAN & Cellular when the below prompt appears. -
After you connect the camera’s WIFI hotspot several times, it will connect to it automatically next time when you have WIFI on and the camera is powered properly. (Some Android devices need to CLOSE WLAN+ or WLAN security detection, or it will not connect automatically and can only connect every time manually.)

Multiple users can view the camera image on the app at the same time, but the image may be delayed. You can hook up two cameras with one device and check the camera view by switching the WIFI hotspot.

The WIFI Antenna can’t touch any metal or it will greatly affect the video signal transmission.

If you are using a constant power supply, you can view the image on your device all the time or at any time you like. If you connect it to a power supply like reverse light(the camera will only start working when reversing), the time may take longer to show the image on your device, hope you understand.

We have tested every camera manually twice before sending it out, if you have any questions when using it, please contact us without hesitation.
Steps for Camera Installation:
Before final installation, please have a test on our camera first by following the above steps. If there is no problem with using the camera with your smart device, then you can start the installation process.
- Confirm the power supply for the camera(must be 12V). Turn off the power supply and connect the camera to it: Red cable to positive and Black cable to Negative.
- Run the wires properly, fix the license plate frame to your original license plate, and tighten the screws.
- Loose the screws on the camera body, adjust the camera body for the best viewing angle and then tighten the screws.
Note: If you are not familiar with the installation process, please ask for help from a professional engineer or search-related videos for reference.
Q & A:
Q: Why I can’t find the WIFI hotspot of the camera?
A: The WIFI hotspot generated by the camera starts with “car…” if you can’t
find it, please check if the wires have been connected correctly and the power
supply is 12V 200mA. When the camera is connected correctly, you can use your
phone camera function to see if the IR LEDs turn red.
Q: The WIFI signal is always very weak, why?
A: Please check and make sure that the camera WIFI antenna is not close to the
metal. Straight transmission efficiency is the highest, it would be better if
there is no block between the camera and smart device.
Q: Why can’t I see the camera image even if the device has connected to a WIFI
hotspot generated by the camera?
A: Please turn off the WIFI and open it to connect again to see if there is an
image. If not, please confirm if the required permissions are confirmed during
APP installation. You can uninstall the
APP and install again to confirm the permissions or open relevant permission
in the settings.
Q: Why the device is delayed, losing signal, or freezing from time to time?
A: Please turn off your device’s Bluetooth function and even some other APPs
to reserve enough memory for the camera usage. You can also check the camera’s
WIFI antenna and make sure it is not close to the metal.
Q: How to check if my smart device supports Double Band WIFI?
A: Please search your device model on your device’s official website, you
should find it in the WLAN function part.
