Installation Instructions:

General Installation Guidelines:
The filter connectors are larger to prevent leaks. You might have to twist the filter hard to make sure the connection is secure.

Step-by-Step Installation:

  1. Remove the lid and water reservoir from the top of the dispenser/pitcher and remove the filter from packaging.
  2. Screw the filter tightly into the bottom of the reservoir to obtain a complete seal with the o-ring.
  3. Fill the reservoir with cold tap water and place the lid on top.
  4. Allow all water to pass through the filter before filling it again. Discard the first pitcher of filtered water.

  • Q: Can this filter be used with water of unknown quality?
    A: No, this filter should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

  • Q: How should I store and maintain the filters?
    A: Stored filters do not expire. Keep your unused filters in a cool, dark, and dry place until you need them. As the TDS  concentrations vary in different regions, the service life of the filter might change accordingly. Please replace your filter in  time.

  • Q: How often should I replace the filter?
    A: Replace the filter once a month, even though it has not reached its filtering capacity, to prevent bacteria and fungus growth in your filter, supply lines, and storage tank. When the TDS water meter reads 006, it’s also time to replace your filter.

  • Q: What is the expected lifespan of the filter?
    A: The expected lifespan varies depending on the TDS level of the water. Here are the general ranges:

    • Tap water TDS 000-001: N/A
    • Tap water TDS 002-050: 40 gallons or more
    • Tap water TDS 051-200: 25 to 40 gallons
    • Tap water TDS 201-300: 15 to 25 gallons
    • Tap water TDS 301-400: 8 to 15 gallons
    • Tap water TDS 400+: 8 gallons or less

  • When the TDS water meter reads 006, it’s time to replace your filter.
