Install and connect APP

Booting
Push the power switch button on the repeater and push it from “O” to “I”.CHASING CF1 Live Fish Finder - Booting Connect CanFish CF1
Two ways of USB connection and Wi-Fi connection are available. USB connectionis recommended first.
1. USB Connection
The provided USB cable is used to connect the repeater and the mobile phone/tablet respectively, and the USB interface with the mobile phone logo is used to connect the mobile phone/tablet.CHASING CF1 Live Fish Finder - USB
ConnectionNote: If you cannot communicate after connection, you can turn on the OTG on your mobile phone and try to turn off WiFi and cellular traffic of your mobile phone. If you still cannot communicate normally, the mobile phone/tablet may not support the USB port function, and please use WiFi connection;
2. Wi-Fi Connection
Enter the mobile phone/tablet Wi-Fi connection interface, and ensure that the repeater has been turned on for 10 seconds. Wi-Fi name: Chasing_xxxxxx/password: 12345678.CHASING CF1 Live Fish Finder - Wi-Fi
Connection Turn Wi-Fi on/off or switch Wi-Fi frequency
Turn Wi-Fi on/off: Press the key on the side of the repeater for 3 seconds to turn on/off the Wi-Fi function.(
Note: After booting, the Wi-Fi function is turned on for 10 minutes by default. In case of no Wi-Fi connection, Wi-Fi shall be automatically turned off.)
Switch Wi-Fi frequency band: Shot press the key on the side of the repeater to switch Wi-Fi frequency band (2.4 GHz/5GHz). Priority is given to 5GHz frequency band, and the wireless communication is of better quality.
Power bank function
After the mobile phone/tablet is connected to the repeater by USB cable, the power bank function can be turned on in the APP, and the repeater charges the mobile phone with the output power supply through the USB cable, with a power of 5V/1A. After charging, the endurance may be reduced.       CHASING CF1

Charging Guidance

Please charge the USB interface of the repeater with a PD protocol charger. If a non-PD protocol charger is used, fast charging may be not supported, and it may take longer time to charge. The specific time is dependent on the charger power.

Precautions of Lithium Battery

  1. Don’t squeeze the battery pack, otherwise there may be a risk of fire and explosion;
  2. Don’t place the battery pack close to the fire source or heat source, otherwise there may be a risk of fire and explosion;
  3. Don’t discard lithium battery packs at will, otherwise it may endanger the environment;
  4. Don’t short-circuit the battery pack, otherwise there may be a risk of fire and explosion;
  5. Don’t soak the battery pack in water, otherwise there may be a risk of fire and explosion;
  6. Don’t store the battery pack for a long time, otherwise it may enter a power loss state. It is recommended to store 50% ~ 70% of the power and charge it every 3 months.

Waterproof Safety

  1. Don’t keep the waterproof camera at a depth over 30 meters, otherwise it may leak and the camera function may fail.

Recommendations of Maintenance

  1. Please dry it after each use, and store it in a cool and dry place.
  2. After using in seawater, please rinse the probe and cable fully with clear water, dry it and store it.
