SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

  • This appliance may be used by children aged eight or over, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the resulting dangers.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Children must not perform cleaning or maintenance unless they are at least 15 years old and supervised.
  • Keep children under the age of 8 years away from the appliance and power supply.
  • Set up the appliance on an even, stable, clean, non-slip, dry and fireproof surface in a spacious area.
  • To avoid short circuits, do NOT expose the appliance to rain or water.
  • Do NOT set up the appliance in the immediate vicinity of the heat source.
  • To avoid possible electrical shock, this appliance is FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
  • Do NOT place the appliance OUTDOORS or on WET ground, nor put the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Disconnect the power supply before cleaning, maintenance, or transportation of the unit.
  • o NOT immerse the outer barrel into the water at any time as it may damage the electronic part inside.
  • Do NOT place any foreign object in the water barrel.
  • The appliance must only be operated with the original power supply unit.
  • Do NOT use an extension cord or modified adapter.
  • Be careful when moving the appliance and avoid damaging or impacting it. In case of any damage, deformation or corrosion is noticed, stop using it immediately.
  • Replace the filter every 4 to 8 weeks or when the water flow is noticeably reduced.
  • Do NOT wash the filter with soapy water. Soap residue will remain in the filter and may harm your pet.
  • For multi-pet households, the inner barrel and water tray might become sticky over time due to excessive saliva of the pets. To avoid this, change water and clean the inner barrel regularly, and replace the filter in time.
  • Please do NOT fill the inner barrel with water over 35 Celsius or 89 Fahrenheit.

The appliance, accessories and packaging must be disposed in accordance with local and national regulations.

Operation

Operation
Switching between standard mode and intermittent mode:
Double-click on the button to switch between standard mode and intermittent mode.

Standard mode: The appliance continuously provides fresh and clean water.
Intermittent mode: The appliance provides fresh and clean water every 2 minutes.

Switching on/off the LED indicator:
Click on the button to switch on/off the LED indicator.

LED Indicator Status: Appliance Status
White light is on: In normal operation. Blue light is on In intermittent mode.
Red light is on: Alarm for water shortage with approx. 350ml of water left (Water fountain is working as usual).
Red light is blinking: Alarm for empty water with approx. 200ml of water left (Water fountain stops working).
Purple light is blinking: Alarm for filter replacement.
Light is off: LED indicator is switched off.

Note:

It is recommended to detach and clean the appliance with water regularly for the health of your pet. The outer barrel is not washable, please wipe it with a wet cloth or towel if necessary. Apart from the porcelain water tray, DO NOT apply dishwasher to any other part of the water fountain.  Regularly cleaning the pump is essential to prevent the limescale and subsequent pump failure, especially in hard water regions. It is recommended to replace the filter (4) and sponge in the pump every 4 to 8 weeks. After replacing the filter, reset the filter counter by pressing the button on the front of the appliance for 5 seconds. For assembly, refer to the steps in section “Assembly”.

Troubleshooting

Error Description Solution
White/Blue/Red LED indicator is on and no water comes out of the fountain
  • Check whether the impeller of the water pump is blocked. If yes, please clean away (see ‘Cleaning’ section).
  • Check whether there is sufficient water in the barrel. If not, please add water.

LED indicator is blinking in white/blue|

  • Check whether the water pump is duly placed in the groove inside the barrel, and note the direction of the pump.
  • Check whether there is any object between the bottom of the pump and the barrel.
  • Check whether there is any object between the inner and outer barrel.
  • Check whether there are water stains on the base of the outer barrel. If the water stains persist, use after sun drying.

LED indicator is blinking in red|

  • The water pump stops working due to insufficient water. Please add water to the barrel in order to restore the pump to work.
  • Check whether the A/C adapter in use meets relevant requirements (see ‘Product Specifications’).
  • Check whether there is any object between the bottom of the pump and the barrel.
  • Check whether there is any object between the inner and outer barrel.

LED indicator is off and no water comes out of the fountain|

  • Check whether the power supply is connected.
  • Click the button to turn on the LED indicator.
  • Check whether the impeller of the water pump is blocked. If yes, please clean away (see ‘Cleaning’ section).
  • Check whether there is sufficient water in the barrel. If not, please add water.

Low volume of pumped water|

  • Check whether the water pipe, filter holder and water tray are duly assembled.
  • Check whether the sponge is clogging up. If yes, please clean or replace the sponge.
  • Check whether there is hair inside the water pump. If it is clogging up the pump, please clean the pump impeller (see ‘Cleaning’ section).
  • Check whether there is sufficient water in the barrel. If not, please add water.

Noisy water pump|

  • Check whether the water tray is duly assembled.
  • Check whether there is hair inside the water pump. If it is clogging up the pump, please clean the pump impeller (see ‘Cleaning’ section).
  • Check whether there is sufficient water in the barrel. If not, please add water.

Intermittent water flows|

  • Check whether the fountain is in intermittent mode. Double click the button to switch to normal mode.
  • Check whether the water pump is duly placed in the groove inside the tank, and note the direction of the pump.
  • Check whether there is any object between the bottom of the pump and the barrels.
  • Check whether there is any object between the inner and outer barrel.
  • Check whether there is sufficient water in the barrel. If not, please add water.

Fountain is overflowing with the sound|

  • Check whether the filter package is removed.
  • Check whether the filter is clogged. If yes, please clean or replace the filter.
