Elitech LMC-310 Wireless Electronic Refrigerant Charging Scale

Thank you for choosing the Elitech electronic refrigerant scale. Please read this manual thoroughly before use, especially the “Warning” section. Keep the manual with the scale for further consultation.

Warning

  • Please use the scale in specified environment to avoid error or damage to the sensor.
  • Please do not use chemical solvent or corrosive liquid to clean the platform.
  • Please do not disassemble the platform to avoid big weighing error.
  • Remove the batteries if the scale is not to be used for a long time in case the leakage corrodes it.
  • The batteries included are not rechargeable. Please do not charge them.

Mobile App Operation

Charge/Recover: Click the charge /recover button to set the charging/recovery weight. The scale enters charging/recovering status and charge /recover button turns to STOP. charge /recover button, the scale returns to weighing status and the charging valve is closed.
Start/Stop : click it to start or stop the charging valve instantly. (When the platform is in low battery, the charging valve is disabled to open. Please replace the batteries.)Elitech LMC-310 Wireless Electronic

Buttons

  • When charging or recovery is not in progress, press this button to turn on the scale; hold it for 3 seconds to turn off the scale.
  • Press to zero the reading.
  • Press to switch between kg, oz and lb.
  • Press to turn on the blue backlight. It will be automatically off after 10 seconds. Hold the button for 3 seconds until the buzzer beeps once, the backlight will be always on; press this button again to turn it off.
  • Press to set charging value.
  • Press to set recovery value.
  • Press to close or open the charging valve immediately.
  • Press to repeat the last charging or recovery command.
  • Press to lock current weight.
  • Press to confirm settings. After setting the charging/recovery value, press this button to enter charging/recovery status. If the value is incorrect, press and hold the button for 3 seconds to exit settings. During charging/recovery process, press this button to stop the process and enter weighing status.
  • When the platform is off, press this button to turn it on; When the platform is on, hold this button to turn it off. When an alert is triggered after charging / recovery, press this button to mute the buzzer.
  • Press this button when the platform is communicating with the remote, the wireless module will enter sleep status and wireless LED will turn red and flash slowly, indicating the communication disconnects. Press this button again, the wireless module enters working status.

Quick Start

  1. Install 5 AAA alkaline batteries into the remote. Install 5 AA alkaline batteries into the platform.
  2. Place the platform on a hard and flat floor.
  3. Press the button to turn on the platform. The power LED flashes once in red, and the wireless LED turns red and flashes quickly, indicating the platform is being searched.
  4. Press the button on the remote, it will automatically search available devices. When the wireless LED turns green and flashes, the platform and the remote has communicated.
  5. Press the button to select your desired unit.
  6. Press the button to tare.
  7. Put your refrigerant cylinder or other objects on the platform, and read the weight when the icon 1, sr,miJ is displayed stably.
  8. Charge: Press the button and set the charging value, then press the button to confirm, and the charging process starts.
  9. Recover: Press the button and set the recovery value, then press the button to confirm, and the recovery process starts.
  10. Press the button to open the charging valve (icon 10PEN1 always on) or close it (icon1oeeN1off).
  11. Press the button to lock the current weight.

Function & Operation

Weighing

  1. Take out the refrigerant scale and place the platform on solid and level ground.
  2. Press the button on the remote to turn it on.
  3. Press the button to select your desired unit among kg, oz and lb.
  4. Press the button to zero the reading.
  5. Place the refrigerant tank in the center of the platform and zero it again to display the weight of the refrigerant. Press button to lock the current weight, which remains unchanged even the object applied changes.

Charging / Recovery

  1. Connect the aviation plug on the platform to the female connector on the charging valve in correct direction.

  2. Connect the refrigerant hose in the arrow direction on the charging valve housing.

  3. Charge: Press the button to enter the charging interface, set the charging value by pressing number buttons, then press the button to confirm, and the charging valve will open. It will automatically close with a beep alert when the set charging value is reached. Press the power button on the platform to cancel the alert.
    If the value is set incorrectly, press and hold the button to exit current status and repeat the operation above. When the platform detects the weight increasing, the sign”-” will appear on the left of the remote’s screen. If the weight is less than -0.2kg, indicating on error occurs in the charging process, the charging valve will

  4. Recover: Press the button to enter the recovery interface, set the recovery value needed by pressing number buttons, then press the button to confirm, the charging valve will open. It will automatically close with a beep alert when the set recovery value is reached. Press the power button on the platform to cancel the alert.
    If the value is set incorrectly, press and hold the button ta exit current status and repeat the operation above. When the platform detects the weight decreasing, the value displayed an the remate’s screen will increase. If the weight is 0.2kg greater than the set recovery value, indicating an error occurs in the recovery process, the charging valve will automatically close and icon 10PEN1 will be aft.   5. After a charging/recovery process, press the button to simply repeat such charging/recovery operation without setting the value again.

  6. Press the button to immediately open or close the charging valve.
    Note : The display above is taken kg as measurement unit.

Overload Detection
If the weight of refrigerant tank exceeds the scale’s maximum capacity (100kg), the LCD will display Flill , the buzzer will beep and the red status indicator will flash indicate the alarm.
Note : Do not load on object that weighs more than 100kg onto the platform to ovoid damages to the platform and sensor.

Battery Indication
When the battery voltage is extremely low, the battery indicator icon C will blink and the L[□ may display unstably. Please replace the batteries in time so that you con use the scale normally.

Other Functions

  1. Self-test within 2 seconds after power-on.
  2. Tare function applies to full weighing range.
  3. Auto OFF: The scale will be automatically off if the weight remains unchanged for10 minutes.
  4. When the remote does not communicate with the platform for 2 seconds, the scale will be automatically off.
  5. When the platform battery is too low, the charging vale is enabled to open. Please change the batteries in time.
