SINGCALL Receiver
Operating Instructions
◆Number registration (Not suitable for APE8800)
- Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.
- Press the key [ENT] till [01] [001] or [001-01] appears.
- Press the key [UP], [[MOVE]] or [DOWN] to choose the registration number you wanted.
- Press the call pager, waiting for the number flashes on the screen with sound signals.
- Press the key [ESC], and [F1] appears.
- Press the key [ESC] again, back to standby mode. The registration is finished.
- Repeat step 3)~4)to register all the call pagers you need, and then press th key [ESC] twice back to standby mode.
◆Sound setting
- Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.
- Use the key [UP] to choose [F2].
- Press the key [ENT] and [01] or [12] appears.
- Use the key [UP], [DOWN] to choose a type of sound (“00”-“11” are 12 kinds of beautiful music; “12” is voice reporting). ** Only APE1000 series and APE2000 series have voice reporting function.
- Press the key [ENT], and [F2] appears
- Press the key [ESC] again and back to standby mode.
◆Calling display number time setting

Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.

Use the key [UP] to choose [F3].
Press the key [ENT], and [20] or [0000](for APE8800) appears on the screen. -
Use the key [UP], [DOWN] to choose the display time wanted. [00] or [0000] (for APE8800) means unlimited display, figures “01”-“99” mean the corresponding time from 1~ 99 or 9999 (for APE8800) seconds.

Press the key [ENT], and [F3] appears.

Press the key [ESC] and back to standby mode.
◆Sound length and voice reporting times setting

Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds and [F1] appears on the screen.

Use the key [UP] to choose [F4].
Press the key [ENT] and [01] appears on the screen. -
Use the key [UP] or [DOWN] to choose the length of sound you want. Numbers “01”-“15” mean 15 kinds of the length. “01” means 2 seconds, “02” means 4 seconds, and so on. Number “15” means 30 seconds of the music prompt. Numbers “01”-“15” also means the times of the voice reporting.

Press the key [ENT], and [F4] appears again.

Press the key [ESC] and back to standby mode.
◆Volume adjusting
※Only for APE9000, APE9300, APE9500 and APE9600. (The volume of the other
models can be changed with the volume controlling knob on the top of the
receivers.)
- Standby mode, press the key [UP] or [DOWN] to choose the volume, 01~15 means 15 kinds of volumes.
- Press the key [ESC], and back to standby mode.
◆Different sounds for different pagers
(Not suitable for APE1900/APE2100/APE2900/APE8000/ APE8800)
- Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds and [F1] appears on the screen.
- Press the key [UP] to choose [F5].
- Press the key [ENT] and [01] or [12] appears on the screen.
- Use the key [UP], [MOVE] or [DOWN] to choose a sound.
- Press the key [ENT] and [01] or [001] appears.
- Use the key [UP], [MOVE] or [DOWN] to choose the number you want.
- Press the call pager, and the number flashes on the screen with sounds and then stop.
- Press the key [ESC] and [F5] appears again, the registration is finished.
- Press key [ESC] again to back to standby mode.
- Repeat step 4) ~8) if more than one pagers needed to be registered.
◆Time setting

Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.

Use the key [UP] to choose [F5] (for APE1900/APE2100/APE2900/APE8000)
For receiver APE1200/APE1800/APE2000/APE2300/APE2500/APE2600, time could be set in the last function choice (F8 or F9). -
Press the key [ENT] and set the current time, for example [13-29] displays on the screen,

Use the key [UP], [MOVE] or [DOWN] to adjust time.
-
Press the key [ENT], and [F5] appears again.
-
Press the key [ESC] and back to standby mode.
◆Delete the registered numbers or initialize the receiver
-
Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.

Use the key [UP] to choose [F6].
-
Press the key [ENT], the registered minimum number appears.
-
Use the key [UP], [MOVE], or [DOWN] to choose the number to be deleted.
-
Press the key [ENT], delete the number when it flashes with sounds. Then the next registered number will appear on the screen.
If you want to initialize the receiver, press the key [ENT], the numbers keep changing on the screen. When [00], [000] or [000-00] appears, the initialization is completed. -
Press the key [ESC] and [F6] appears

Press the key [ESC] once more, back to standby mode, the number deleting is done.
※Special functions
◆Choose the prompt sound for the key [cancel] (apply to multi-button
pagers)
- Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.
- Use the key [UP] to choose [F7].
- Press the key [ENT] and [01] appears on the screen.
- Use the key [UP], [MOVE] or [DOWN] to choose a number from “01” to “20”. “01”-“10” mean having the prompt sounds, and “11”-“20” mean do not have the prompt sound when press the key [cancel].
- Press the key [ENT] and [F7] appears again.
- Press the key [ESC], back to standby mode.
◆Number display mode setting( all-digital display or digits beginning with
an English letter,
for APE1200/APE1500/APE1800/APE1900/APE2000/APE2100/APE2500/APE2600/APE2900,
APE9500/APE8000/APE8800)
- Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.
- Use the key [UP] to choose [F8].
- Press the key [ENT] and [01] appears.
- Use the key [UP], [MOVE], or [DOWN] to choose a number. “01”~“10” mean the calling number is all-digital display (default setting), and “11”~“20” mean the calling number is digits beginning with an English letter (A, B, C, D, E, F, H, P, J or L) display.
- Press the key [ENT] and [F8] appears on the screen.
- Press the key [ESC], back to standby mode.
◆Same or different sounds for multi keys of the multi-key pagers
(For APE1600/APE1800/APE2500/APE9600)
- Standby mode, press the key [FUN] for 3 seconds till [F1] appears.
- Use the key [UP] to choose [F8] (for APE1600/APE9600) or [F9] (for APE1800/APE2500)
- Press the key [ENT] and [00] appears on the screen.
- Use the key [UP] or [DOWN] to choose a number. “01” means the same sound for different buttons and “00” means different sounds for different keys (default setting).
- Press the key [ENT] and [F8] or [F9] appears on the screen.
- Press the key [ESC] and back to standby mode.
Special Instruction for APE8000
◆Register the remote control
- Press the key [D] on standby mode (time display mode) and [F1] appears on the screen.
- Press the key [A] and the screen is on standby
- Press the key [B] and [F1] appears on the screen.
- Press the key [B] again enter standby mode and finish the registration of the remote control.
Note: All the register steps should be finished within 2 minutes after
the receiver is turned on. The remote controller should be registered again
when the receiver is turned on every time.
◆Specific methods of operation are same with other receivers’
Below is the function of remote controller keys:
D: [FUN] (function) / [MOVE] (move)
A: [ENT] (enter)
B: [ESC] (escape)
C: [UP] (up) / Delete the current calling number
E: [DOWN] (down) / Delete all the calling number
Volume adjustment:
- Standby mode, press the key [C] or [E] to adjust the volume. Numbers “01”~“15” mean 15 kinds of volume. (This is not including the voice reporting)
- Press the key [B], back to standby mode and the volume setting is done.
Special instruction of APE8800:
Time setting of the perpetual calendar:
- Standby mode, press key [FUN] till digit flashes.
- Press key [MOVE] to adjust the digit position.
- Press key [UP] or [DOWN] to set the current date and time.
- Keep pressing key [FUN] until the digit light keeps on.
Instruction of the remote control
Function: deleting the registered number
- Choose the No.300 position with manual operation and register the remote control to this position. Then press any keys during the registration.
- Instruction of keys: C key——deleting the currently display number on the screen.
A key——deleting all the numbers on the screen.
Call pager registration:
- Standby mode, press key [FUN] 3 seconds till [F1] appears on the screen.
- Press key (ENT), [001–] appears (it means the first position), use key (UP), (DOWN) to choose other location (a total of 300 positions, one position can only be registered one number. After the [001 -] location registration has been finished, the next number should be registered in the [002 -] position, and so on). —- Select location.
- Press key (ENT), [001-01] appears, press key (UP), (MOVE), (DOWN) to choose the register number. —- Register number.
- Press the call pager to be registered, the register number flashes on the screen with music prompt and then stops.
- Press key (ESC), until (F1) appears.
- Press key (ESC) again, back to standby mode. The registration is finished.
- Repeated step 2) 3) 4) to register all the call buttons you needed. After all the pagers are registered, press key (ESC) twice back to standby mode.
Please refer to the receiver manual for other function setting.
Cautions:
Please keep the wireless calling products away from the below interference
sources
- Base stations of mobile equipment.
- Refrigerators, air conditioners and other high-powered electric appliances.
- Large ultrasonic equipment in hospitals.
Installation notes
- Plug in the adapter first (no wet hands) and connect with the receiver after power light on. Then, turn on the receiver.
- Any abnormality founded, please contact with SINGCALL customer service. To avoid unnecessary troubles, please don’t disassemble the products by yourself.
- It is recommended to use original accessories.
- The pagers needed to be registered to the receiver before use. Keep the call pagers at least 30cm away from the receiver and make sure no one else presses the other call pagers during the registration. It is normal if one or two pagers can not be registered successfully when so many pagers are registered at a time. Register the failed ones again. Check the receiving distance before fixing the registered pagers.
- Draw out the antenna of the registered receiver before use.
- Please adjust the frequency of the walkie-talkie out of the range 433.92±10MHZ to avoid disturbance if the wireless calling system and the walkie-talkie are using in the same place.
- Pagers cannot direct contact with metal bases
- Pasting the pagers on smooth surface for pasting on rough surface, such as wallpaper, is likely to drop.
- Please keep dry to avoid circuit oxidation.
- The weather (Weather conditions will influence) influences the receive distance.

Step 1: Insert the key into the keyhole of the base.
Note: insert half of the key only
Step 2: The right hand holds the key tightly and presses the base with the
inserted key;:the left hand rotates the pager clockwise and takes it down,
Step 3: The separated pager and base are available to be repaired and the
battery is replaceable.
