is comprised of two main components that work together but are installed in separate places. An outdoor condenser unit is connected to a single or multiple indoor units via small refrigerant pipes. Installation is easy, requiring no ductwork and only a small exterior wall penetration to connect the refrigerant lines and electricity. What is a Ducted Heat Pump?
A Ducted System
consists of an outdoor unit and a indoor AHU or cased A-coil. A ducted system delivers air through duct work into each room via vents on the floor, wall or ceiling. These systems can be used for sole-source heating & A/C or configured with a gas fired boiler or furnace for a hybrid electric – gas solution.
This is the same configuration as is found with a traditional ducted A/C system.

Blue Fin 3-layer anti-rust coating is applied to each fin. This special coating prevents rust from salt air and moisture from rain and melting snow and assures longer life of the heat exchanger.
