INTRODUCTION

  • Thank you for purchasing WE2805-B 4G LTE Router from Zbtlink.
  • The 4G router comes with the free eSIM, a built-in digital sim.
  • Scan the QR code on router or box to activate the eSIM.
  • After activation, you will get 10GB free data.
  • You can contact us to change the network operator if needed.

Guidance for activation of eSIM.

  • Steps 1:
    • Scan the QR code on the router or box to enter the activating interface.Then click the “Device” in bottom left corner.
    • The device used for scanning does not need to connect to the router, but needs to connect to network.

  • Steps 2: Scan the QR code again on router or box to bind the device.
  • Steps 3 : Activate the 4g router.

  • Steps 4: After activation, you will get 10GB free data, which can be viewed in order history.

Connect to wired broadband via modem.

Login management page
Open the browser, then enter the default IP address “http://192.168.1.1” or the domain name “http://router.epplink.net“, and enter the default password “admin” to log in to the management page. (It is recommended to use Google, Firefox, Safari browser), or scan the following QR code through wechat to enter the management page.
Note: When logging in with a domain name, the IP and DSN of the login computer must be set to automatically obtain

Configure Internet access

WAN setting
After logging in, select “Network” → “WAN” to set the Internet access mode. There are three Internet access modes: “automatic access /PPPoE/ fixed IP”. Please choose the correct Internet access mode according to the requirements of broadband operators.

  • Automatic access to the Internet (default)

  • PPPoE dial-up
    Select “PPPoE dial” and enter the account password provided by the operator. After saving, the account can be dialed automatically. After dialing successfully, the assigned IP address can be obtained for Internet access.

  • Fixed IP Internet access
    Select the “fixed IP”, then input the IP/subnet mask/gateway provided by operator, then after saving

Set the wireless password

  • The wireless password is not set by default. It is recommended to change the wireless password for your network security.
  • Select “Wireless Settings” → “2.4g” to enable the wireless network, set the wireless name, set the encryption mode [It is recommended to use WA2(AES) encryption mode] and the wireless password (to set the password, select “2.4g Advanced Option” and the password should be at least 8 digits), and click save.

Change the system administration password

  • Click the icon to bring up a dialog box. Select the” Change Administrator Password “option to pop up the password service dialog box to make changes.

  • Enter a new password and click “Ok” to automatically jump to the login interface. Enter a new password to log in.

Cloud login

Cloud login can log in to the local setting page through the firewall, which is mainly used for remote management, remote assistance and so on.

  • The cloud login function is turned off by default. If this function needs to be enabled, “Select Service and Application” → “Cloud Login” interface enables the cloud login, and the cloud login address will be generated after it is enabled, as shown in the figure below: (http://78a351333330589d9.05.ac-link.com:81), Enter this url in your browser to log in remotely to the management device.

Install your physical sim. (Data only sim required)

  1. Remove the sticker near the LAN 2 and find the SIM card slot.

  1. Insert the sim card correctly. Nano sim required. SIM card chip facing up.

  1. Power and connect your devices to the router.
    • Wifi name can be found on the lable on router. No password for wifi default.
    • Or connect to LAN and computer with Ethernet cable.

  1. Log in with the IP: 192.168.1.1, enter the defult password: admin

  2. It is better to fill in the APN in 3G 4G setting in network setting. (get APN from your network operator, no need to fill in the advanced options by default.)

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem: Cannot connect to Internet after installing sim card.

  1. Check if the frequency band of your sim is compatible with that of the router.
    The router supports:

    • 4G LTE FDD:
      B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B9/B12/B13/B17/B18/B19/B20/B25/B26/B2 8/B66

    • 4G LTE TDD:
      B34/B38/B39/B40/B41 WCDMA/HSPA: B1/B2/B4/B5/B8 GSM/GPRS/EDGE: B2/B3/B5/B8

  2. It works with all network operators. If your sim is unable to work, please ask your carrier to add the router IMEI, which can be found on router label.

  3. Check if your sim card has been detected.If detected, sim card number will show in the 4G setting interface. If it still cannot to connect to Internet, please send the log to us.
    If keeps dropping connections, find “Network watchdog” in “Advanced Setup”, then set “execute action” as “no action”.
