When the flow rate exceeds 45.5L/Min or 12.0GAL/Min, the LCD will display HHHH.

QUICK INSTALLATION

• Step 1 :Unscrew the back cap to unlock the direction. Pressing the button to switch these 5 modes. Full Screen LCD Display
• Step 2: Install the coin battery and screw the cap to the lock direction.
• Step 3: When closing the battery cover, align it with the arrow position and then rotate it towards the lock direction.

FUNCTIONS

5 MEASUREMENT MODES
Pressing the button to switch these 5 modes.

• a)Flow Mode : Measure the current water flow rate. When the water is through the flow meter, the LCD will be activated and show the current flow in GAL/Min or L/Min.
  Under FLOW MODE, press and hold the button for 3sec to switch the L/Min or GAL/Min.

• BAUTO Mode: Measure the single water consumption. Press the button to show the last time water usage. Hold the button for 3 seconds to reset the consumption. At the next watering, the display starts at 0 again.

• c)AVG Mode: Measure the average water consumption of the latest 7 days. Press the button to show the latest 7 days’ average water consumption. Hold the button for 3 seconds to reset the Average.

• d)Total Mode : Measure the total water consumption. Press the button to show total water consumption, Max 99999L/99999GAL. Hold the 111 button for 3 seconds to reset the Total.

• e)Remaining Mode: This feature helps you know how much water is left in the rain barrel or tank. Setting the total water volume by pressing the button for 3 seconds.
  Use the “+/-” buttons to set the water volume of your container from 0 to 26417Gal or 0 to 99999L. Once done, press the ” ” button or wait for 5 seconds to save and activate the Remaining Mode

When the remaining water volume is less than or equal to 10% of the set water consumption value, the water shortage icon will be displayed on the LCD.

Note: When the REMAINING shows 0, please set a new total water volume again. This mode supports one-time calculation only.

TIPS

• The accuracy of the remaining water consumption depends on the water volume setting, which should 100% match the actual water volume of the container.
• During the remaining setting mode, hold the “+ key” or “- key”; the numbers increase and decrease by multiples of 10 per second.
• All value settings should be saved when the power is off. Under Remaining mode, press and hold the ” ” button for 3 seconds to reset the value.
• When the flow meter enters the standby state, it will start from the Flow Mode once it’s reactivated.

FAQ

• Q: Why is the flow meter inlet connector leaking?

  • A: The water leakage might be due to:
  • The filter is not installed correctly.
  • There is a gap in the connection between the connectors and the filter washer.
    Please make sure the filter stays flat inside the inlet hole. Use the PTFE thread seal tape to wrap the faucet hose or add a washer to the flow meter connector.

• Q: Can I use the flow meter to measure air or hot water?

  • A: It’s not recommended to measure air. Please strictly control the water temperature below 140℉(60℃) for the hot water.

• Q: How long does the coin battery last?

  • A: The CR2032 battery lasts over 10 months. When the low battery symbol flashes on the LCD, please change to a new battery within 7 days.

• Q: What if the flow meter does not work?

  • A: Please check if the battery is installed in the correct direction. If not, please take out the battery and reinstall it, make sure the battery’s positive side faces out, and ensure battery poles are clean and free of rust.

• Q: Why the water traffic is getting smaller?

  • A: Maybe the filter is blocked by dust or small grit, please change a new filter for the flow meter.

• Q: Why the remaining mode doesn’t work?

  • A: The function does not work in two cases:
  • The remaining water volume is set to 0.
  • This mode is not enabled.
