4G LTE ROUTER

Antennas Installation

For those routers with detachable antennas, install 2.4G antennas to the 2.4G interface and 4G antennas to 4G interface (SOME ROUTERS ANTENNAS ARE NOT DETACHABLE, SO NOT NEED THIS STEP.)

SIM Card Installation

  • Insert the sim card before powering on the device.

POWER ON THE ROUTER.

The power indicator will light up when the router is powered on. When powering on for the first time, please wait 1-2 minutes as it may take some time for the system to fully boot up.
CONNECT TO THE WIFI OR CONNECT TO THE COMPUTER VIA LAN.
WiFi name and password can be found on the label on router or box.

Open a browser and enter the default management IP address 192.168.1.1, enter the default password admin to log in.
IF YOU CANNOT ENTER THE LOGIN INTERFACE, PLEASE CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE AND TRY AGAIN. Click Network then 3G 4G LTE to check the 4G network status. Fill in the APN. (APN can be obtained from your network operator) No need to fill in the advanced options unless the network operator requires. (Notes: 4G auto-dial may  take a few minutes)

Common Problems and Solutions
You can analyze the problem through the information on the 3G 4G LTE interface. Faulty
1: Problem: The SIM card number is “–” or NO SIM
Analysis: The SIM card hasn’t been recognized.

Solution:

  1. Check if the sim card has been installed correctly. Use our sim holder and try again (some standard sim may be too thin to be recognized)
  2. Check if the sim card is invalid.
    Problem: SIM card number shows, but no service.

Solutions:
Check the SIM status in Log information.
1.If the sim status is SIMPIN, the sim has been locked, please contact the network operator to unlock it.
Problem: SIM card number shows, but no service.

  • Inquire the network operator if the sim can work with the 4g router or ask them to add the IMEI of this router.(IMEI can be found on the label on router or box.)
  • Contact the network operator to check if the APN filled in is correct.
  • Check if the sim is in arrears, or the data plan is invalid or used up.
  • Check if your local bands match the router’s.

WCDMA: B2/B4/B5
Europe: LTE-FDD: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28
LTE-TDD: B38/B40/B41
WCDMA: B1/B5/B8
GSM/EDGE: B3/B8
Router keeps rebooting or disconnecting.

  1. Set Execute action as No action in Network watchdog in Advanced Setup.
  2. Change the detection address to 127.0.0.1 in Network watchdog.
