SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Warning

  1. Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some times items may be packed in poly-bags could cause suffocation; keep away from children and pets.
  2. Do NOT allow small children to play with, in or around the pet feeder.
  3. To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervision when an appliance is used near children.
  4. Do NOT use the feeder with pets not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability.
  5. Do NOT immerse the base part in water at any time as it may damage electronic components like the control panel.
  6. Do NOT place any foreign object in the pet feeder.
  7. Do NOT use outdoors. Check operation frequently to be sure the unit is dispensing properly.
  8. Do NOT use wet, canned or moist food.
  9. Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this Product Manual.
  10. Do Not use the feeder for anything other than its intended use.
  11. Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do not modify the pet feeder.
  12. Do NOT operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged.
  13. Always unplug when not in use and before cleaning.
  14. Never pull on the electrical power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  15. If the plug device gets wet, turn off electricity to that wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.
  16. Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is water on the power cord or plug.
  17. To avoid tripping, always position power cord out of the way of foot traffic.
  18. Please change the desiccant in the storage barrel cover regularly.
  19. Please keep the food barrel dry and sealed, and check it regularly to ensure food residue.
  20. Dot not drop all the substances except the pet dry food into the grain barrel. Otherwise, it will cause abnormal use of the equipment, and even cause safety problems of the pet.

Warning

  1. Do NOT allow pets to chew or swallow any parts. If you are concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the power cord.
  2. If an extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating should be used.
  3. Do NOT install or store the pet feeder where it will be exposed to the weather or temperatures below 4 °C/ 39 °F.
  4. Use alkaline D batteries to power, Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
  5. Check the batteries regularly. Before leaving for extended time, always replace batteries with new ones.
  6. Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the unit in an upright position.
  7. Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-12 mm/0.07-0.48 in in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.
  8. Read and observe all important notices on the pet feeder and in the packaging.
  9. When using the adapter and batteries at the same time, the adapter power supply is in priority.

  • Press and hold for 3s until a beep is heard. Release, record (Max 10s) and press again to end as a double beep is heard. If you are not satisfied, you can repeat this step to overwrite the previous recording.
  • Press and hold for 3s to unlock.when the LCD screen is off ,press this button before any further operations. (except resetting by pressing the Up button)
  • Press to increase value. Press and hold for 6s when screen off to reset all settings.
  • Press to decrease value.
  • Press to enter the setting menu and switch between time, meal, and portion settings, and when the specific icon blinks on the Screen indicating it’s ready setting.
  • Press to manually feed a portion (About 7‡2 grams).

Notes:

  1. Automatically lock the screen after 30s of standby.
  2. The weight of the food that comes out is related to its size and density

How to use

Warning:
Please use the original 5V power supply.

  1. Assemble the Food Tray

    • Install the food tank into the base.
    • Put the removable stainless steel bowl into the food tray,and install the food tray into base.
      Note:
    1. Please empty and remove the tray before moving the feeder.
    2. Hold the base instead of any other parts when lifting the feeder.
  2. Placing Desiccant Bag
    Open the food tank lid and put the desiccant bag (1 Included) into the desiccant carrier.
    Note:

  3. Recommend to use and replace the desiccant bag once every half month.

  4. Please remove the desiccant bag before cleaning the food tank lid. food tank lid.

  5. Connecting Power

    • Insert the 5V power adapter into a wall socket. Plug in the power socket of the feeder and the LCD screen will light up.
    • Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit, and install 3 allkaline D batteries (not included) in case of outage Note:
    1. Battery NOT included.
    2. Before connecting to power, make sure all parts are clean and completely dry.
    3. The battery should power with an output of 4-5V; the battery level icon on the display blinks on a low battery level(<4V).
    4. Change the batteries every 6 months if not in use for a long time.
    5. Recommend using both battery and adapter in case any of power cut off.
  6. Fill Food Tank
    Fill food tank with dry pet food. Close the lid and it will snap into place due to gravity.
    Note:

  7. Do not use canned, wet or moist pet food.

  8. Recommend kibble size ranging from 2-12mm/0.07-0.48in in diameter.

  9. Set the Time

    • Press and hold the button 3s to unlock the screen.
    • Press the button to set the current time, and the icon will blink.
    • Press the / buttons to increase or decrease the value and set the hour.
    • Press the button to move to the minute field, set the minute similarly.
  10. Set the Meals Per Day

    • After the current time is set, press the button to set meal number, and the meal icon blinks
    • Press the / buttons to set 1-4 meals per day.
  11. Set the Time & Portion of Meals

    • After the meal number is set, press the button to set the time and portion.
      E.g. the meal number now is”1″, indicating it’s ready for settings of the first meal.
      Set the time of the first meal.

    • Press the button and the hour field of the time icon will blink.

    • Press the / buttons to set the hour.

    • Press the button and / buttons to set the minutes in a similar way.
      Set the portion of the first meal.

    • After the time is set, Press the button and the portion number will blink.

    • Press the / buttons to set the portion No. 0-20. One portion has about 7 ‡ 2 grams of food.

    • Press the button to repeat the process about the 2nd to 4th meal if you needed.

  12. Record a Meal Call

    • Press and hold the button for 3s until a beep is heard.
    • Record your voice for less than 10s, press the button again to save, and 2 beeps will be heard. (You can press the button to check the voice you just recorded.)
    • Repeat the process to change your recordings every time.
  13. Manually Feed Your Pet

    • Press the button when the screen is unlocked (Press and hold the button for 3s), and one portion (About 7‡2 grams) will be fed each time.
      Note:
      The regular schedule and portion will not be affected.
