The Mini HubGW4C is a versatile device that allows you to control various smart home devices using voice commands and the accompanying app. It requires an internet connection and can be linked to your Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Install APP
To begin using the Mini HubGW4C, you need to install the accompanying app on your phone. You can find the app on the official website, Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter. Once downloaded, follow the installation instructions provided by the app.

Step 2: Add Device
After installing the app, follow these steps to add your device:

Open the app and navigate to the “Add Device” section.
Select the type of device you want to add (e.g., Light Panel, Curtain, Sensor, Gateway, Universal).
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the device setup process.

Step 3: Link to Alexa/Google
Once you have successfully installed and added your device, you can link it to your Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control. Follow these steps:

Open the Alexa or Google Assistant app on your phone.
In the app, search for the Mini HubGW4C device and select it.
Follow the on-screen instructions to link your device to Alexa or Google Assistant.

Step 4: Voice Control
After linking your device to Alexa or Google Assistant, you can use voice commands to control your smart home devices. Simply say the command followed by the name of the device you want to control. For example, say “Alexa, turn on the Color Lamp” to control your Color Lamp.

Overview

After opening package, please check contents as below.

NOTE
Please use standard 5V Micro USB power supply not less than 1A to power the device. DO NOT use multi-port shared USB power supply.

What’s Required

A smartphone or tablet running iOS 11.0/Android 5.1.
A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with Internet connection.
Power on the device and make sure the LED indicator is flashing.

Install APP

Scan the QR code or search “BroadLink BLE” in App Store or Google Play to download and install the free App.
Account creation is not mandatory to use the App. However, as an option, you can go to “Me” tab to create your account for syncing data between different mobile devices.

Add Device

Tap “Add Device” > “Gateway” > “Add Devices”.
Make sure the device LED is flashing (if not, press and hold the reset button at back side until the LED flashes).
Select Wi-Fi network and input password to proceed and wait for completion.

Link to Alexa/Google

After the device is added, the App will guide you to link to 3rd-party services. Just choose Alexa or Hey Google and tap “LINK NOW”.
You will be redirected to Alexa or Google Home App to complete the account linking.

Voice Control

After account linking, Alexa/Google Home App will discover devices and list them. Now you can say to smart speakers for voice control.
Alexa/Google Home will also discover scenes preset in BroadLink BLE App. You can say for example “Alexa, turn on Reading”.

Important Notices

The BLE devices will automatically connect to gateway/hub in range without further pairing.
The use of App doesn’t require creation of account for simplest experience. We still highly recommend users to create account so when you change a phone and log in with same account, everything will be automatically synced without setting up again.
