Switch Temperature Unit

  • Take out the battery from device and put it back. Every time the device is re-powered, it will switch the display of temperature unit between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Comfort Indication

What’s Required

  • A smartphone or tablet running iOS 11.0 / Android Si. A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with Internet connection.
  • Refer to the user manual of BLE hub/gateway to set it up in App and make sure its accessible. The sensor won’t work without BLE hub/gateway.

STEP 1 Install APP

  • Scan the QR code or search “BroadLink BLE” in App Store or Google Play to download and install the free App.
  • Account creation is not mandatory to use the App. However, as an option, you can go to “Me” tab to create your account for syncing data between different mobile devices.

STEP 2 Add Device

  • Tap “Add Device” > “Sensor”. Remove battery insulator for first use and the device will be in pairing mode for 2min.
  • Then dick “Add Devices” to discover the device. If it is not for first use, take out the battery and put it back to switch the device to pairing mode again (reset).
    NOTE: You may need to reset twice as the reset will also switch the temperature unit.

STEP 3 View Data on APP

  • Click the device icon toview the current temperature and humidity as well as data curve.
  • Click “History data” to choose specific day to view history data.

NOTE: The data will be refreshed instantly if the temperature is changed by 1°C or humidity is changed by 5%, otherwise the data will be synced every 4 hours.

  • Refer to the manual of gateway/hub to link to Alexa/Google service (Google supports both temperature and humidity while Alexa only supports temperature).
  • After the device is discovered, you can ask for instance “Alexa, what’s the temperature of [Device Name]?” or “Hey Google, w  hat’s the humidity of [Device Name]?’

The device can be placed either way for use:

  • a Desktop standing Put the product standing on any flat surface (ex. desktop or bookshelf)
  • b wall mounting Use the sticker to stick the device on flat wall

 FAOs

How can I do if I can’t find device during adding?****

– Make sure you keep a close distance between phone and device
• If you missed the pairing time (2min from power-up), please reset it (refer to “Add device”).

What factors may affect the device communication?****

– Walls, glasses, or metal materials attenuate the signal significantly between device and phone/hub. It is highly recommended to keep clear range between them for better communication.

Important Notices

  • This device is NOT designed for use in environment under 0°C.
  • Keep the device away from severe environment with high temperature or hi humidity
