BroadLink able to control devices app or voice User Manual

What’s required

• Internet
  

• Wi-fi Router

• Phone
  

Power on Device

• A smartphone or tablet running iOS 9.0 / AndroidTM 4.1 or higher.
• A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with Internet connection.
• Power on the device and make sure the LED indicator or bulb is flashing intermittently.

Find your settings

• Open up your phone’s settings and select WLAN.
• In your smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings, connect to “BroadLink_WiFi_Device” wireless network.
• If you can not find the device Wi-Fi network, please disable and enable WLAN to try again.

Input information

• Wait for network connection.
• A landing page will automatically pop up on your smartphone.
• Select your home Wi-Fi name and input its password.
• Input your email as an account name. Then proceed and tap “Connect now” in next page to complete network setup.
  The email will be used in STEP 6.

Connect to cloud

• The LED indicator will be flashing slower and then always on (bulb) or flashing slower and then off (other products).
• The device has been connected to Wi-Fi network.
• You will receive a confirmation email after the device is online.

Download Alexa, Google home

• Download the latest version of Alexa or Google Home APR.
• In Alexa APP, tap ” “, and choose “Skills & Games”. Tap ” ” to search and enable “BroadLink”.
• In Google Home APR tap “+” and choose “Set up device”. Tap “works with Google”, then search and enable “BroadLink”.

Link account

• Choose “NoAPP” and confirm you region to proceed.
• Input the same **email*** as you used in popup landing page and input verification code received by email.
• Link your **email*** with Apple ID or Google account for quick sign-in next time (optional).

Discover Devices

• After discovering devices, you will be able to control the devices by APP or voice.
• The devices will be displayed with their default names (ex. “Plug” for smart plug, “Color Bulb” for multicolor bulb).
• If you added more than one same device, the names will be automatically added with “_1, _2…”

Rename Devices

• You can tap ” ” in device control page and tap “Edit name” to change the device name.
• If you are setting up the second device, you will get notification from Alexa after STEP 6 is completed, or you can find the device in Google Home APP after few minutes.

Try our APP

• You can also use BroadLink APP to try more functions such as max working time (smart plug only), easier timers, groups.
• To download “BroadLink” APP, please go to APP store or Google Play by searching “BroadLink”.
• Use the same **email*** as used in NoAPP to sign up an account and then sign in.

   • Sign in BroadLink APP.
   • Tap on top of APP homepage to access help center for more information of each product and APP functions.
   • Tap “Feedback” on bottom to submit your issue for our prior customer support.
2. Tutorial video
   • Search “BroadLink International” to find device setup video in YouTube.
   • You can also use other social platforms to get more information.
