This User Manual has the appropriate usage of the hitch camera, providing comprehensive product information including operation, installation safeguards, and technical specifics.

Note: The parts included may be slightly adjusted based on customer
requirements.
Pre-installation Note Be sure to test a camera system before installing
it in your vehicle. If the test is OK, the camera is charged and ready to
install. The following testing steps: Step1:Supply power to the monitor.if the
background blue light of all keys is on and the monitor displays the channel’s
name and radio strength bar information, indicating that the monitor is on.
Step2:Powering on the camera. Step3:The camera is automatically connected to
the monitor and the image appears on the monitor by default
Charge the camera
Charge the camera before you install it on your vehicle, When the camera is
charged, the red or green indicator light flash After fully charged,four
indicator light stay on.
Note1: For camera, you need to remove the cover before charging.
Note2: Please use a car chager cable or a standard USB charger with a
rated output of 2000mA or higher
INSTALLATION
Install the Camera

The installation location of the camera
The installation location of the camera is flexible. Find the best installation location depending on the vehicle models to install it. -
Install the camera
Install the antenna on the camera before installation. Magnet based camera is easily mounted on any vehicle surface Note: Please use the mount metal plates with strong adhesive if the surfaces is Non-magnetic surfaces (Plastic/Aluminum/Glass/Wood). -
Adjust the angle of the camera
Camera up and down adjustable angle range about 0 degrees to 100 degrees.
Install the Monitor
- Clean and dry the area of the dashboard where you would like to mount your monitor
- Attach the antenna to the monitor
- Connect the monitor cable with the car charger calbe.Plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter port in your car.
Note: if the signal is week(below 3-bars signal),please use an extension antenna to strengthen the signal
OPERATE INSTRUCTIONS
Camera Operations
How to check the camera status with the power button?
Short-pressing the power button briefly and checking the red indicator light.
If it is lit, indicating that the camera is power-on. If it is not, indicating
that the camera is power-off.
How to power on carmera with the power button?
If the status check confirms that the camera is powered off, then long-
pressing and holding the power button for about 3 seconds. If the red
indicator light is lit, indicating that the power-on operation has been
successful.
How to power off carmera with the power button?
If the status check confirms that the camera is powered on, then long-pressing
and holding the power button for about 3 seconds. If the four indicator lights
flash once then off, indicating that the power-off operation has been
successful.
Important Note:
If the status check confirms that the camera is powered off, then long-
pressing and holding the power button for about 3 seconds, if the red
indicator lights is off, indicating that the battery is exhausted and needs
immediate charging.
Or long-pressing and holding the power button for about 3 seconds twice
consecutively, if the red indicator light is always off. indicating that the
battery is exhausted and needs immediate charging.
Note for the indicator light:
the indicator lights will automatically turn off after staying on about 5
seconds, this is designed to use the battery for as long as possible.
Note: If the battery is exhausted, please recharge it with the charging
cable.
Note: Always keep weatherproof cover fitted regardless of conditions.

DOWN key: Back/Decrease or Switch Single/2-Split/4-Split screen mode
MENU key: Menu settings
UP key: Forward/Increase
POWER key: Power on/off
FLIP key: Switch Mirror/Normal/Up/Down image
Parking Line key : turn on/off the parking line
PAIR key: Pair the monitor with the camea or Switch CAM1/CAM2/CAM3/CAM4
channel or Split Screen
Menu Settings
Press the MENU key once to enter the brightness mode, press DOWN/UP key to
adjust data
Press the MENU key again to enter the contrast mode, press DOWN/UP key to
adjust data
Press the MENU key again to enter the saturation mode, press DOWN/UP key to
adjust data
Press the MENU key again to exit the menu settings
Basic Functions

How to turn on/off the parking line ?
Press the Parking Line key once to turn on the parking line
Press the Parking Line key again to turn off the parking line -
How to switch Mirror/Normal/Up/Down image
Press the FLIP key once to switch mirror image
Press the FLIP key again to switch normal image
Press the FLIP key again to switch Up image
Press the FLIP key again to switch Down image -
Standby mode
When the camera and monitor work normally, press the POWER key, the monitor turn off and enter standby mode, the background blue light of all keys is off and the background red light of power key is only on, Press the power key again to exit standby mode. Note: the monitor will automatically turn off and enter standby mode when there is no image for more than 25 seconds -
Day and Night mode
Day mode:the camera automatically switches to the color mode when the amblent light are good,and the screen displays the color image Night mode:the camera automatically switches to the night mode at night or under low light conditions. The infrared lights turn on to provide light and the screen displays black and white image
Advanced Functions

How to switch between Single/2-Split /4-Split Screen ?
Press and hold the DOWN key once of the monitor for about 5 seconds until the 2-Split screen appears on the monitor you need.
Press and hold the DOWN key again of the monitor for about 5 seconds until the 4-Split screen appears on the monitor you need.
Press and hold the DOWN key again of the monitor for about 5 seconds until the Single screen appears on the monitor you need. -
How to switch between CAM1/CAM2/channel or 2-Split Screen ?
(for dual camera kits)
Press the PAIR key of the monitor once to switch to CAM1 channel
Press the PAIR key of the monitor again to switch to CAM2 channel
Press the PAIR key of the monitor again to switch to 2-Split screen -
How to switch between CAM1/CAM2/ CAM3/CAM4 channel or 4-Split Screen ?
(for quad camera kits)
Press the PAIR key of the monitor once to switch to CAM1 channel
Press the PAIR key of the monitor again to switch to CAM2 channel
Press the PAIR key of the monitor again to switch to CAM3 channel
Press the PAIR key of the monitor again to switch to CAM4 channel

How to pair the camera?
CAM1 uses CAM1 channel by default and is paired before leaving the factory,no need to pair again.
If you need to re-pair the camera,please follow the steps: -
Pick up the monitor, Mount one of the antennas on the monitor, Press the POWER key of monitor to activate the monitor.

Press the PAIR key of the monitor once to switch to CAM1 channel,and the CAM1 channel you need will pair.

Press and hold the PAIR key of the monitor for about 5 seconds until the “Pairing…” appears on the monitor, indicating that the monitor enter the pairing mode.

Pick up the camera, Attach another antenna to the camera, Power off the camera and quickly Power on.

The image appears on the monitor,meas pairing is successful.
Note1: Please power on the camera after completing the step 1-3,or the pairing will fail.
Note2: the pairing timeout is 30 seconds.if the pairing is not completed in seconds, the “Pairing…” disappears on the monitor.
Follow the steps to pair the camera again.if the pairing fails after several attempts, please contact customer support: support@camtrh.com -
How to pair the second camera?
CAM1 uses CAM1 channel by default and is paired before leaving the factory,no need to pair again.
If you need to re-pair/change /install the CAM2,please follow the steps: -
Pick up the monitor, Mount one of the antennas on the monitor, Press the POWER key of monitor to activate the monitor.

Press and hold the DOWN key of the monitor for about 5 seconds until the 2-Split screen appears on the monitor

Press the PAIR key of the monitor once to switch to CAM1 channel, Press the PAIR key of the monitor again to switch to CAM2 channel,and the CAM2 channel you need will pair.

Press and hold the PAIR key of the monitor for about 5 seconds until the “Pairing…” appears on the monitor, indicating that the monitor enter the pairing mode.

Pick up the second camera, Attach another antenna to the camera, Power off the camera and quickly Power on.

The image appears on the monitor,meas pairing is successful, press the PAIR key to switch to the 2-split mode,Images on both channels.

No Signal & No Image

Confirm if the camera power on or if the battery is exhausted.

Check that the antenna is properly connected to the camera.

Check for metallic obstructions near the antenna.

If pairing information is lost or incorrect, re-pair the camera.

If out of range, consider adding an antenna extension cable or altering the camera’s position.
The extension antenna can be used to bypass obstacles and facilitate camera placement in blocked areas, while ensuring the antenna is in an area free of obstructions. -
Video Freezes, Disconnects/ Unstable Video / Static Video

If out of range, consider adding an antenna extension cable or relocating the camera.

If signal is weak or heavily blocked, consider adding an antenna extension cable or relocating the camera mounting.

Fuzzy Picture/Unclear Pictures

Please ensure removal of the camera lens protector to attain optimal image quality post-installation.

Please check whether the camera lens are wiped off.

Mounted Camera Slips / Falls
Please check whether the film from the camera base is removed. -
How to Mount on Non-magnetic Surfaces (Plastic/Aluminum/Glass/Wood)
Please use the mount metal plates with strong adhesive.
Note: Maximum adhesion is achieved 48 hours post-application.
