Installation Instructions

Precautions

  • Ensure the vehicle’s engine is turned off, and the keys are removed from the ignition before starting the installation.

  • Allow the existing fog light bulbs to cool down before attempting to replace them with LED bulbs.
Caution: Do not touch the LED bulb’s glass surface with bare hands, as oils and contaminants can damage the bulb and reduce its lifespan. If touched, clean the bulb with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

  • Make sure to refer to your vehicle’s manual for any specific instructions or precautions related to replacing fog light bulbs.

Tools Required

  • Safety gloves
  • Screwdriver (if required for accessing fog light housing)

Installation Steps

  1. Access Fog Light Housing
    • Depending on your vehicle model, you may need to access the fog light housing from under the front bumper. Consult your vehicle manual for guidance.
    • If required, use the appropriate tools to remove any screws or clips securing the fog light housing.
  2. Remove Old Bulb
    • Carefully detach the electrical connector from the existing fog light bulb.
    • Gently twist and remove the old bulb counterclockwise (lefty loosey).
  3. Install LED Bulb
    • Align the tabs on the LED bulb with the notches in the fog light socket.
    • Insert the LED bulb into the socket and gently twist clockwise (righty tighty) to secure it in place.
    • Reattach the electrical connector to the LED bulb.
  4. Test the Bulb
    • Turn on your vehicle’s ignition and test the LED fog light to ensure it functions correctly.
  5. Secure Fog Light Housing
    • If you removed any screws or clips in step 1, secure the fog light housing back in place.

Operating Instructions

  • Turn on the fog lights using your vehicle’s light controls as you would with the stock halogen bulbs.
  • LED fog lights may produce a brighter and whiter light compared to halogen bulbs. Adjust your vehicle’s headlights accordingly to avoid blinding other drivers.

Maintenance and Care

  • Regularly inspect the LED fog light bulbs for any signs of damage, moisture buildup, or corrosion. Replace them if necessary.
  • Keep the LED bulbs clean from dirt, debris, and road contaminants. Clean them gently with a damp cloth if needed.
