Overview

Note: This model can be worked in underwired or in wireless mode.

• Working via USB Cable
  Get Started: Connect the scanner to your device via a USB cable. If you use a US keyboard, it’s plug-and-play. If you use another type of keyboard, please refer to the below “keyboard language type” to configure the keyboard language before use it. If you use it on MAC system you have to plug USB receiver to work under wireless mode.

• Working via a 2.4G receiver
  Get Started: Plug the 2.4G receiver on your device, then you can start to use it. (US keyboard by default) If you use another type of keyboard, please refer to the below “keyboard language type” to set the keyboard language before use it.

• Program Barcodes
  Netum barcode scanners are factory-programmed for the most common terminal and communication settings. If you need to change these settings, programming is accomplished by scanning the bar codes in this guide. An asterisk (*) next to an option indicates the default setting.

• Keyboard Language Type
  In order to let the scanner upload the codes in a correct way, you have to configure the keyboard language. For example, If you use a French Keyboard, scan below the “French keyboard ” barcode, and then the scanner will upload barcodes according to the French Keyboard layout. The US keyboard is set by default. If you use a US keyboard you can ignore this step.

Offline Mode

If you are heading for a working area that lies outside the Bluetooth signal range, you may activate the scanner’s offline mode, by following the steps described below. Under this mode, all scanned data will be stored directly in the buffer memory of the device. Furthermore, the data entries will be permanently saved in the buffer memory prior to the manual upload into the working station, so that you may upload them when you are near your working device.

• By scanning the following barcode, the offline mode will be activated.
• By scanning the following barcode, all data in the buffer memory will be deleted
• By scanning the following barcode, all data entries in the buffer memory can be manually uploaded after reconnecting to the working station.
• By scanning the following barcode, the gross quantity of the uploaded data entries will be summarised.

Instant uploading Mode

By scanning the following barcode, the device leaves the offilne mode, instant uploading mode will be reinitialized

TROUBLESHOOTING FAQ’S

Some barcodes can not be read,why ?

• Dirty or unclear barcodes might not be read.
• Digital barcode displayed on phone,computers or tablets can’t be read bylaser scanner.
• The possible reason is that the configuration for some barcode types are not commonly used is off by default. You need to activate a specific barcode type to get it to work. Please contact the customer service team for help. d. Scanner can not read 2d (QR, Datamatrix,PDF417)

Is there any barcodes for appling or remove suffix ?

• Yes, you can download the manual from our official webiste or turn to our customer service team for help.

The data can not be sent to my computer. Why?

• Please make sure you have turned off the inventory mode. Because it will store your scans internally instead of instantly transmitting them to the connected device. You need to scan the “Manual Data upload” barcode tosend the scanned codes to your connected device.
• The scanner has disconnected with the USB receiver (It will make 3 beeps when you scan the normal barcode and data can not be uploaded).

Please follow below instructions to rebuild the connection between scanner and the USB receiver.

1. Scan channel 11 then scanner will have di di di di… sound.
2. When you heard the di di di sound, take out the receiver and plug it again, then beep sound will be stopped. In 2-3 seconds the data can be uploaded again.
3. There’s laser beam but scanner can not read any barcode or it makes 5 beeps after read a barcode.

In this case,please charge power for the scanner immediately. Scanner can not read any barcode when it’s under low voltage.
