Solve the problem of echo on 2 in 1 USB C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter (CD0700-Asin: B07Y87QXTQ)
Update the Firmware
If you are experiencing echo while using the 2 in 1 USB C to 3.5mm Headphone
and
Charger Adapter, there’s no need to worry. It requires a firmware update.
Please take
some time to update the firmware by following these detailed steps:
Steps
- Insert this adapter into a laptop or desktop computer with USB C female port
- Connect this adapter to CTIA’s headphones
- Open the firmware and tools link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16XaBe-DVmxsFfTpdcQu2xn6dNq904TOP
- Download and save all the files named “CD0700-Solve echo issue firmware…” to your computer/laptop
- Unzip “CD0700-Solve echo issue firmware…”
- Click on the following files in order:
- Click and unzip “KT020X.zip” and “ktRES1.0.20.zip”
- Click on the unzipped folder “KT020X”, double-click to run “KT020X.exe”, and select “USB”:
- Setting Tab-Select “KT_USB_AUDIO”
- Boot_USB Tab-Select binary files (files ending with “.bin”), as shown in the figure:
- Select “Upgrade”
- . Upgrade successful! ! !
Note: If the update fails, re-plug the USB C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter (CD0700), make sure it is firmly inserted, close the program, and repeat the above steps until a green bar appears and the word “update successful” is displayed! ! !
