Please follow the steps below: Press the Functions menu button on the remote control, and when the menu appears, select Others and press OK. Then select Set Up and press OK. What are the recording modes?
The recording mode controls the size and quality of the recording. They are as follows:- XP - Maximum Quality - 1 hour per disc. SP - Good Quality - 2 hours per disc. LP - Reduced Quality - 4 hours per disc EP - Low Quality - up to 8 hours per disc. FR - Flexible Record - Fits a recording onto a DVD using variable sample rates where the recording is between 1 and 8 hours.
