Please read this manual before operating your Smart Lock, and keep it for further reference.

TIPS:

  1. This lock is equipped with mechanical keys for manual unlocking. Remove mechanical keys from the package and keep them in a safe place and always have access to them.
  2. To power on the lock, four alkaline AAA batteries (not included) are required. Non-alkaline and rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
  3. This lock is not designed to be exposed to direct sunlight or rain. It is not water proof IP rated.
  4. Keep your fingers clean when using this lock.

TIPS:

  1. Install the spindle onto the latch, and get the cables through the middle of spindle.
  2. Fix the rear fixing plate, front handle with two screws on the door.

Open the product package. Check that the follwoing accessories are included.

3. Installation

Please follow the below steps to install the lock

4. Measure the Door Size

Make sure door thickness is 1.38-2.16″, door hole diameter is 2-1/8″, measure backset size is 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″with the deadbolt.

TIPS:

  1. Available door thickness 35mm-55mm. If the door is over this range. please contact us for more information.
  2. Please select the correct accessories according to your door thickness.

5. Check Points After Installation

  1. The face plate is horizontal with the door.
  2. The Latch bolt must works smoothly and flexibly!
  3. Please make sure the cable will not be pressed.
  4. Fix the the handle with two screws, and check ifit works fine. @ Install the batteries, and cover the battery cover.

TIPS:

  1. Repeat Method 1 or Method 2 to switch from “Free Passage Mode” to “Auto Lock Mode”, and vice versa.
  2. Enter an administrator’s fingerprint or passcode to unlock the door, and switch to “Auto Lock Mode”
  3. Press the “#” key in the outside handle to change to “Auto Lock Mode”.

TIPS:
Firstly touch the panel to wake up the lock before any operation with touch- control area. Any fingerprint or initial test passcode (123456#) can unlock it if no user is enrolled.

TIPS:

  1. The first 3 verified users are administrators, and the others are general users.
  2. Only the first administrator’s setting is diferent from others. For example, if you set a “fingerprint” as the first user, the following users, whether it’s a fingerprint or a password, should be set by following the “Step 2” or “Step 3”.
  3. If the display goes off during the operation, please restart the steps.
  4. When adding fingerprints, try to ensure that multiple areas of the finger are read.

2. Unlocking & Locking

TIPS:

  1. Before setting users or when failing to set users, anything that touches the fingerprint reader can unlock as long as its temperature is clos to body temperature.
  2. If the lock beeps 3 times, the red light goes on then turns steady green light, and the unlocking fails, please try again.

TIPS:

  1. Keep at least one key out of the door for emergency.
  2. When the battery is low, the indicator will blink red light. The rest power could only be used for about 30 times.
  3. When the battery is out of power, you can unlock the door with key, or supplythe lock with power through the micro-USB port and use fingerprint or passwordto unlock it.
  4. Use alkaline batteries to prevent the damage by battery leakage.
    If not used for a long time, please remove the battery.

Q & A

1. Why anyone’s fingerprints can unlocked the lock?
The newly arrived fingerprint lock is an automatic program, all fingerprints can unlock under this program, you need to add the administrator fingerprint before continuing the subsequent programming. Note: If the fingerprint addition fails, the program will not be canceled, please re-add the fingerprint.

2. Why does it keep failing when adding a password?
Password must be 6-10 digits to take effect.

3. After installing the fingerprint lock, what should I do if the keyboard light of the fingerprint lock does not light up?
It is possible that the connection cable is squeezed during installation, resulting in poor contact. Please adjust the position of the connection cable appropriately.

4. Why do I keep getting an error when I recognize my fingerprint?
When adding fingerprints, try to ensure that multiple areas of the finger are read.

5. Why does the fingerprint lock not automatically lock after unlocking?
Some newly arrived locks have disabled the automatic locking mode, please turn on the automatic locking manually.

6. When I use my fingerprint or passcode to unlock, the green light is on but I can’t unlock it normally.

It may be that the center of the lock cylinder is not positioned correctly when you reinstall it, you can readjust it and try again.
