Introduction description

Universal handheld image 2D barcode scanner adopts the international advanced image transmission technology, with two-way communication and instant error correction feedback, to complete a variety of commonly used one-dimensional codes and two-dimensional code reading. Equipped with auxiliary illumination, it can be used in different lighting environments and can also be used at night, which is highly applicable. 360° read barcode in any direction faster reading and more efficient operation, suitable for commercial POS systems, supermarkets, warehousing and logistics, books, banking, transportation, postal, and industrial, manufacturing production process, management and other fields. The setting code preceded with “**” is the default setting, not all functions of the product are listed in this manual, so please contact us on 080-6901 0000 for more details. the company holds rights over the product and its associated materials, and that any final decisions about the interpretation of the instruction manual rest with the company(the contents of the manual can be changed without prior notice).

Product Features

1. This product adopts a CMOS camera module, which can identify ID/2D code and screen code.
2. Reading distance up to 20cm, which can quickly read out the information in the barcode.
3. This product is equipped with an inventory function that can directly carry out some simple daily inventory work. All parameter settings can be completed by scanning the setting code and saved in the memory of the barcode scanner, the inventory content and parameter settings can still be retained after the power if turned off.
4. This product is equipped with a one-key pairing function, simple and fast to complete the pairing of transmission/ receive(This product has been paired at the factory).
5. Long distance transmission, 50 meters transmission distance in an open area(indoor transmission distance about 20-30 meters according to different structure and environment).

Installation method of the receiver(Default Mode)

1. Plug the wireless receiver to the USB port of the computer.
2. After the wireless receiver is plugged into the computer, the system will automatically install the driver(if the driver installation fails, please unplug the receiver or restart the computer).
3. Once the driver is installed, the receiver can transmit data with the paired scanner.

Scan the following setting code of Bluetooth HID mode, Press the scanner button, turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone and search for the name “CXCODE-SCANNER” for pairing, the Bluetooth pairing is successful.

2.4G Pairing setting Code

Scan the “One-click pairing” setting code first, and plug the receiver into the USB port of the computer after hearing the buzzer “beep” 3 times.(Note: After the pairing is successful, the scanner’s buzzer will “beep” 2 times and disappear. Whole step need to be completed within 30 secs)

Note:

1. Normal mode: The scan result will be uploaded to the computer in time (Default mode).
2. Inventory mode: The scan result will be stored in the internal memory in this mode (when the internal memory is used up, the buzzer will “long beep” as a reminder).
3. Data upload: Scan the barcode to upload the data stored in the internal memory to the computer in tum (suit for inventory mode, please ensure the wireless signal is normal when uploading data, the buzzer will “beep” twice when the data is uploaded successfully when the data is upload failure, the buzzer will “beep” 3 times).
4. Total number of data: Scanning this barcode will display the total number of stored data (suit for inventory mode).
5.  Clear Data: Scan this barcode to clear all data in the internal memory.

Simple maintenance method

1. Stains and dust on the scanning window will affect the scanner’s work sometimes. It should use a good quality facial tissue and gently wipe it when cleaning. Then blow it clean with a blowing balloon. If you wipe with poor paper for a long time, it will damage the surface finish of the scanning window and affect the reading effect of the scanner.
2. The scanner housing can be wiped with a soft clean cloth.
   If needed, add a small amount of dish soap to the water and wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in water.

Warranty Coverage

• Chiptronics Solutions warrants that the above barcode scanner (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions for a period of2 Years from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”}.
• This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable.

Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:

• a) Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, abuse, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications.
• b) Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, scratches, or dents.
• c) Damage caused by liquids, exposure to extreme temperatures, or improper storage.
• d) Any Product that has been opened, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized personnel.
• e) Damage resulting from use with non-approved accessories or components
• t) Consequential or incidental damages, including data loss or loss of business

To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

Voiding the Warranty:

• The warranty will be void if the Product’s serial number has been removed, altered, or defaced.
• Opening the Product or attempting repairs by unauthorized personnel will void the warranty.
