Battery Indicator

  • Solid green: Battery is full.
  • Flashes green: Battery is low, or being charged.

Status Indicator

  • Solid green: Writing (saving the user information to the app when connected to the cellphone’s bluetooth).
  • Quickly flashes green: Performing self-check.
  • Slowly flashes green: Sending (sending out the previously written user information)
  • Out: Malfunctioning.

Power Switch

  • Hold: To switch the device on/off
  • Short press: To delete the previously written user information (when in Self-Test mode).

Charging Port

Connect with the charging cable to charge.

How to charge

  1. Insert the Type-C plug of the charging cable into the charging port
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB adapter (5V/2A) or powerbank to start charging.

Charging status

  1. When charging, the battery indicator flashes green.
  2. When fully charged, the battery indicator is solid green.

Charging time

About 30 minutes. A fully charged remote ID provides about 30 minutes of usage time.

  • Please use the original charging cable to charge the battery.
  • Always charge it on a fireproof surface and away from combustible materials. DO NOT charge on surfaces that can catch fire, including wood, cloth, and carpet.

THE INITIAL WRITE

  1. Hold the power switch for 2 seconds to turn on the remote ID. Wait for the status indicator to turn from flashing quickly to solid.

  2. Turn on bluetooth on your phone. Run the remote ID app. Enter the requested user information.
    Note: Please make sure that bluetooth is turned ON.

  3. After confirming that the information was written successfully, hold the power switch for 2 seconds to switch off the remote ID.

  4. Restart the remote ID. The status indicator will turn from flashing quickly to fiashing slowly, which means the ID is sending out the previously written information.

TO ALTER USER INFORMATION

  1. Hold the power switch for 2 seconds to turn on the remote ID.
  2. Short press the power switch once to delete the previously written information.
  3. Turn on bluetooth on your phone. Run the remote ID app. Follow the prompts to rewrite the user information.
  4. After confirming that the information was written successfully, hold the power switch for 2 seconds to switch off the remote ID.
  5. Restart the remote ID. The status indicator will turn from flashing quickly to flashing slowly, which means the ID is sending out the newly recorded information.
