Product Information

The TFX1 APP Smart Lock is a high-tech lock that offers various features for secure and convenient access to your door. It comes with a front panel, back panel, rubber mats, lock latch, strike plate, side cover, spindle, wooden screws, M4 screws, allen key, mechanical keys, and a hole template. The lock features a battery box, fingerprint reader, keypad, card sensing area, hidden key hole, micro USB charging port, front handle, and back handle. The front panel has a protective film that can be removed if there are any scratches.

Product Usage Instructions

Determine Handle Direction
The handle direction should be determined from the secure side of the door, which is the side from which you initially unlock and enter from outside.

Change Handle Direction

1. Use the allen key to take off the screw from the handle.
2. Take off the handle.
3. Rotate the handle 180 degrees.
4. Fix the desired direction and tighten the screw.

1. Line drawing & Hole drilling:
   Make holes for the lock panel and mortise according to the hole template.

2. Install the latch:
   Insert the latch into the side hole and use 2 screws to fix it.

3. Install the front panel:

   • Cover the rubber mat to the front panel.
   • Make the square shaft hole on the panel aim at the latch.
   • Insert the spindle and fix the front panel to the door.

4. Install the back panel:

   • Remove the rubber mat and base plate from the back panel.
   • Cover the rubber mat to the back panel base plate and fix them to the door.
   • Connect the cables on the front panel to the cables on the back panel.
   • Fix the back panel to the door.
   • Install 4pcs 1.5V AA alkaline batteries and fix the battery cover.

In factory default status, the smart lock (no power on) is always in an open state, meaning that the lock handle is free and the door can’t be locked. To use the smart lock, follow these steps:

1. Search for TTLock APP on your app store or scan the provided QR code to download and install it.
2. Open the app, register TTLock APP, and log in to your account.
3. Ensure that the smart lock is in factory mode.
4. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and stay within 10ft / 3m of the smart lock.
5. Pair the smart lock with TTLock APP following the operation steps in the video.
6. Start using the smart lock.
   Please ensure that your phone’s Bluetooth function is turned on before any operation. While the smart lock can work without the app, more convenient functions are only available through TTLock APP.

Product Specification

If there are some scratches on the film, please don’t worry. There is a protective film on the front panel, it can be removed.

3. Connect the cables on the front panel to the cables on the back panel. (Refer to ⑥ )
4. Fix the back panel to the door. (Refer to ⑦ )
5. Install 4pcs 1.5V AA alkaline batteries and fix the battery cover. (Refer to ⑧ )

In factory default status, the samrt lock (no power on) is always on open state. It means that the lock handle is free and the door can’t be locked. You have to power on the samrt lock with batteries, add administrator and pair the smart lock with TTLock APP, the open mode will be changed to private mode automatically.

1. Search on APP store or scan the QR code above we provided to download TTLOCK APP and install it.
2. Open the app, register TTLock APP and log in the account.
3. Make sure the smart lock is factory mode.
4. Turn on bluetooth on the phone, stay near by the smart lock ( within 10ft / 3m ). Pair the samrt lock with TTLock APP follow the operation steps in the video and start to use it .
   Please TURN ON your phone’s BLUETOOTH FUNCTION before any operation. The smart lock can work without the app, but more convenient functions only works with TTLock APP.

FAQs

• Installation completed, but there is no power on smart lock ?

  • Use only 4pcs AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries from different brands. Never insert objects into the lock other than batteries.
  • Check the direction of the batteries. Positive pole should be Upward.
  • On Internal Assembly, check if the wire is connected to the receiver correctly.

• How to use passcode to unlock ?
  Please enter the default status passcode (123456), press the “#” button on the keypad to unlock.

• How do I keep the lock in the unlocked status ?
  Please go to “lock settings’ in the app to set up lock under “Passage Mode”.

• Does it have a low battery warning ?
  The smart phone will push notification to you to change the battery if the battery going low. Also, on the bottom of front panel, there is a connection port to power bank, you could use power bank as back up power.

• How to unlock remotely ?
  WiFi gateway is required for remote control. With the gateway, you can control your bluetooth smart lock even in far distance. Revise or delete ekey / passcode that you created anywhere, anytime. View the door opening records ( Card, Passcode, APP ) instantly. Support remote unlock the door via app.

The gateway is not included in the package. It needs to be purchased separately.
