Operating Your laser Level
- Turn the Laser Level on by moving the Power Switch to the unlocked position.
- Short Press the V/H button to alternate between the laser Beams. The Laser beam will alternate between
- A single horizontal 360° line.
- A single vertical 180° line.
- Both horizontal and vertical lines.
- Short Press the Mode button to adjust the brightness of the Laser beam. There are three different levels of brightness (100%> 75%>50%).
- In normal power on mode, the laser beam will flash if the device is not on a level surface. The Laser Level will not respond to any commands until it is level.
- Long press the Mode button to enter Manual mode. In this mode, the device will not flash when it is placed at an angle. Long press the Mode button to exit manual mode.
Battery Replacement
- The device uses 4 l.Sv AAA batteries. It is recommended to use Alkaline batteries.
- When the battery is low, the laser will become weak. This is an indication that the batteries need to be replaced.
- To change your batteries, open the battery cover and replace the batteries, remembering to account for polarity. Press the battery cover back into place.
- All batteries should be replaced at the same time. The new batteries should all be of the same brand.
- If the Laser Line is not in use for extended periods of time, it is recommended to remove its batteries. This will prevent battery corrosion.
Maintenance Instructions
- The Laser Level must be kept clean at all times. Use a damp, soft cloth to remove dirt from the device.
- Clean the laser outlet regularly and ensure it is free from fluff.
- No cleaning solutions or solvents should be used. Do not expose the instrument to water or any liquids.
- For transport and storage, be sure to put the Laser Level in a protective bag. The same applies if the device requires any type of repair.
- Kindly dispose of the device in a way that meets your City’s local environmental regulations. The Laser Level and battery must not be disposed as regular household waste.
- The device must be kept dry and away from direct sunlight at all times.
Precautions
- If the Laser beam is directed at your eyes, you must close your eyes immediately. Move the laser beam at once, so it is not in your line of sight.
- Do not point the laser beam at people or animals. Do not look directly at the laser beam or its reflection. The laser beam if used incorrectly can damage your eyes.
- The device must be kept out of the reach of children.
- The accuracy of the laser level may be affected in environments with extreme temperatures or large temperature fluctuations. It is not recommended to store the device in vehicles for long periods of time.
- Safeguard your device from unnecessary falls and collisions.
- While transporting your Laser Level, make sure it is switched off. If the Laser Level is transported while the power is on, its internal parts are at risk of damage.
- Keep the laser level away from magnetic data media and devices that are susceptible to magnetic fields. Interference caused by magnet cables can cause irreversible data loss.
- Only use qualified spare parts to repair the laser level with qualified personnel. This will ensure the safety of the meter. Do not tamper with the laser unit.
- All instructions must be read and noted to operate the laser level safely and reliably. If you do not use the laser level in accordance with the instructions given, it may affect the protection functions integrated in the laser level. The warning label at the bottom of the laser level should remain legible.
