This user manual will help you assemble and operate your new electric scooter. Be sure to read ALL OF THE IN FORMATION in this manual before riding.

NOTE TO ALL RIDERSUNDER 18 YEARS
OF AGE: It’s very important that you get parental permission before riding your electric scooter.

Don’t Ride Until You Read This:

ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding your electric bike.

Make sure your electric bike has a full battery before taking it out to ride.

Alwaysbe aware of local road laws, and follow them.

Do not ride the bike ender the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Always respect pedestrians.

Do not ride under wet conditions. The electric bike may slide from under your feet causing ijkury. Wet conditions may damage the electronics and void the warranty.

Warning Message

1. Avoid water – The electric bike is not water proof. The eletronics may be damaged due to water and water damage is not covered by our warranty. Riding in wet conditions is also very dangerous and may result in injury.
2. Avoid prolonged exposure to sun or rain and avoid strorge in places with high temperatures or corrosive gas.
3. Abuse – We do not cover physical damage due to negligent careand extreme riding.
4. Whenever your ride the GOTRAX Electric Bike, you risk severe injury or even death from loss of control, collisions, and falls. Use caution and ride at your ownrisk.
5. Do not modify the product from the manufacturer original design.
6. Do not exceed the posted speed limit and obey all traffic laws.
7. Avoid touching the charging port directly and do not let it make contact with a metal object.
8. Keep hands and all baby parts away form moving parts while operating the eletric bike.
9. Before riding – be sure to check the electric over and make sure the electric bike is operating correctly before each use.
10. Before riding- be sure to check the braking system is functioning properly; also be sure to check that all safety labels are in place and you understand the safety warnings.
11. Before riding – be sure that any and all axle guards, chain guards, or the rcovers or guards supplied by the manufacturer are in place and inserviceable condition.
12. Before riding- be sure to check that the tires are in good condition, inflated properly, and have sufficient tread remining.
13. Never exceed the 264 lb(120kg) maximum load rating.
14. The electric bike should never be used by children under the age of 16.
15. Maximum Speed – Your electric bike goes the maximum speed of 20mph.
16. Make note that additional insurance maybe required to cover situations you encounter while riding an electric bike. It is recommended that you contact an insurance company or broker for advice and consultation.
17. To conserve electricity, use assist mode and avoid zero starting, frequent braking driving against the wind carrying heavy loads including other people and riding with insufficient air pressure.

Get To Know Your E-Bike

Installing the Handlebar

1. Loosen the screw of the handlebar stem first, and then turn the handlebar stem forward, as shown in the following figure:
2. Use tools to remove the screws from the handlebar fastener.
3. Center the handlebars and adjust their angles (Ensure best control and grip of your bike when riding).
4. Install back the handlebar fastener and tighten the screws.

Adjusting the Seat Tube

1. Loosen the quick-release screw and push the saddle down into the seat post.
2. Adjust the height of the seat according to your needs and tighten the quick-release screw.

Note: Introduction of quick-release screw: Push the quick-release outward to unlock the handle, rotate the quick-release clockwise to tighten the handle, rotate it anticlockwise to loosen the handle,and then pull the quick- release inward to lock the handle.

Installing the front wheel

1. Find the front wheel quick-release locking bolt from the toolkit.
2. Remove the transportation fixing plastic sheet from the front wheel.
3. Align the brake disc of the front wheel with the brake groove, and then slowly install the wheel into the front fork.
4. lnsert the quick-release screw into the front wheel axis. Please note that the screw is equipped with two springs. Install one spring on each side of the wheel axis and tighten the screws. And then pull the quick -release screw inward to fix it. The specific installation is as follows:

Mounting Pedal

1. Please check the Land R marks on pedals.
2. Take the wrench from the tool box.
3. Tighten the pedal counterclockwise on the left.
4. Tighten the pedal clockwise.

Removing the Battery

1. Open the battery key
2. Remove the battery

Turn on /off the battery power

The battery is power off when receive.
Please press the “Red Button” beside the battery to turn it on.

Charge Your E-Bike: Method 1

Before using the electric bike, you mustfully charge the battery.

1. Locate the charging port on the left side of the frame on the removable battery.
2. Plug the charger into a power supply.
3. A red light indicates the battery is charging, green indicates the battery is full.
4. Charging Time: 5-6 hours

Charge Your E-Bike: Method 2

1. Remove the battery charger from the e-bike.
2. Locate the charging port nearthe top of the battery.
3. A red light indicates the battery is charging, green indicates the battery is full.

Installation of mudguard

1. Align the front fender screw hole with the front fork screw hole
2. First align the screw holes of the car lights with the screw holes of the fender and the front fork, and then tighten the screws with an Allen key
3. First fix the two parts of the rear fender with two screws
4. Align the rear fender with the screw hole of the rear fork, and fix the front and rear screws with a wrench

E-Bike Console Functions

• Display Includes: Speed, battery error indication and mileage
• Communications Protocol: UART

OVERVIEW OF KEYS

• A. Turn on the power switch on the battery, then long press the M key to switch.
• B. Default state: gear O is the environmental protection mode (manpower riding), gears 1-5 are energy-saving mode (pedal-assistance) or electric mode, gear 1 is the slowest and gear 5 is the fastest;
• C. Long press UP key to switch the light.
• D. Press the up and down keys at the same time to enter the setting menu bar, you can modify the backlight brightness and display unit MPH, KM/H.
• E. Cruise Mode: Adjust the accelerator to your desired speed, long press”-” to activate Cruise Control while riding, and rotate the accelerator to exit cruise mode.
