Use this Manual

Please read this manual carefully before using. All illustrations in this manual are for reference only, please refer to the actual product.

Notes on Battery Charging

  1. Please use PC USB port or 5V/1A power adapter to charge. Note: Different PCs have different current output capabilities of the USB interface, and the charging time will also be slightly different. It is recommended that when using the PC USB interface to charge, try to charge in the off state to speed up the charging speed. When charging, it is a normal phenomenon that the charger and the player have a certain temperature rise.
  2. New battery needs to charge and discharge for several times to achieve optimum performance.
  3. The player can be fully charged in about 3 hours normally. It is recommended to unplug it from the USB interface after charging, and please do not connect to the power supply for a long time.
  4. The polymer lithium battery coming with can be recharged repeatedly.
  5. The polymer lithium battery must be replaced by professionals, do not replace it by yourself. Note: if the battery is improperly replaced, there is a danger of explosion, and it can only be replaced with the same type or equivalent type of battery. In order to protect the environment, give the waste battery to a professional organization for recycling.
  6. Battery life may vary with usage conditions and production time.
  7. Do not expose the battery to overheated environment such as sunlight or fire.

Warm Tips

  1. It is recommended to turn down the volume of the unit before using headphones, and gradually increase the volume after you start listening until it is suitable. Don’t turn up the volume too high to protect your hearing. (Doctors point out that listening at high volume for extended periods of time will damage the listener’s hearing). When tinnitus occurs, turn down the volume or stop using it.

  2. It is recommended to back up the personal data stored in the player before formatting.

  3. Make sure that the product is in a safe place to avoid accidents and falls.

  4. Over-voltage, power cable strain, bending or squeezing by heavy objects is not allowed to avoid overheating or fire disaster.

  5. Please keep the product away from the electromagnetic environment, excessive humidity, smoke and other harsh environments.

  6. Do nol immerse the product in waler, and do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners to clean.

  7. Do not expose the product to moisture or rain. It may cause equipment failure or even hard to repair because of water and moisture penetration.

  8. Please do not press the product with excessive force.

  9. Please do not vibrate or hit the product violently.

  10. Do not use headphones while driving, riding, operating machinery, or doing work that requires attention to outside sounds.

  11. Please do not repair or disassemble the product by yourself, otherwise we will not provide you with normal after-sales service.

  12. There is an automatic shutdown function in setting. The following conditions must be met for achieving this function:
    A. No programs running automatically in the background.
    B. Can not be in the charging state.
    Note : The automatic shutdown timer starts after the screen is completely turned off.

  13. If the actual setting and using method of this product are inconsistent with this manual due to firmware upgrade, please contact us.

Basic Operation

  1. Power on/off:
    Hold the power button to turn on/off the player. Short press button A to turn on/off the screen.

  2. Main Interface Introduction:

  3. Status Bar: When entering the specific function menu, the top column of the interface is the status bar, which displays these information: time, battery power, Bluetooth, WiFi.

  4. Function Icons: In the main interface, the system comes with 13 icons. Directly click the icon to enter various functions or related settings for this equipment.

  5. Volume Adjustment

  6. Press button 1 to increase volume.

  7. Press button (2 to decrease volume.

  8. Touch: When the volume bar pops up, you can adjust the volume by dragging the slider.

  9. Reset: If the player crashes, please press the “RESET” button to reset the system and force restart. If it still cannot be turned on, check whether the product is out of power.

  10. Return: Swipe from right to left or tap the upper right button

Notes

  1. After the device is operated for a long time, especially in a high temperature environment, it is a normal phenomenon that the surface might be hot. When you feel it is hot, please stop using or charging, turn off some functions as well as moving the device to a cool place. Avoid prolonged contact with hot surface.
  2. If you do not use the device for a long time, please charge and discharge it at least once a month to prevent damage caused by excessive battery consumption.
    [Recommendation]: In order to ensure the long-term use of this product, it is recommended that you buy a special charger for digital products.

Configuration of New Device

Connect to Wi-Fi Network

  1. Swipe down from the status bar to open the notifications bar or find “Wi-Fi” in settings.
  2. Turn on “Wi-Fi” switch and the system will list all detected WiFi networks.
  3. Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. If you choose an encrypted network, you will need to enter a password for access connection.

Connect to Bluetooth

  1. Swipe down from the status bar to open the notifications panel or find “Bluetooth” in settings.
  2. Turn on “Bluetooth” switch. Enter the Bluetooth settings interface and click to search new device.
  3. Tap the name of the Bluetooth address you want to connect to and perform a pairing connection.

Basic Operation of Screen

  • Tap: Touch the target once. Eg: tap to confirm selection or open the APP.
  • Long Press: Touch the target for more than 2 seconds. Eg: long press the blank area on home screen to enter the editing state of home screen.
  • Swipe: Swipe your finger on screen. Eg: swiping up and down or left and right on the screen, allows you to scroll through files, navigate to other home pages, or perform other actions.
  • Drag: Long press the target and move it to another location on the screen. Eg: on the home screen, drag a window widget or icon to any location.

Lock & Unlock Screen
Set screen lock pattern and password. You can set the screen lock password for your device to protect your private information. If you forget your password, you need to reset your device and clean up the data before use it again. Please keep your screen lock password safe.

  1. Open the settings.
  2. Click “Security” >Screen Lock.
  3. You can choose to swipe, set pattern, PIN code or password to unlock screen.

Notification & Status

Recognize the Status Bar
According to the status bar, you can know the notification information and running status of the device in real time. When there are notifications, light up the device screen and swipe down from the status bar to view various messages.

When the notification bar is turned on, you can quickly set the screen brightness, WiFi, Bluetooth, auto-rotate mode.
Note: When the machine cannot be unlocked due to forgetting the password or entering the wrong password, under power-off state, you need to press and hold the Power Button and the Volume+ Button at the same time to enter the Recover Mode, and then press the Volume- Button to select Clear eMM, and finally press the Power Button again to confirm the factory reset to unlock the screen.

System Functions and Settings Settings

Find the Setting icon on the main screen and click it to enter the setting function:

  1. WLAN: After the Wi-Fi is turned on, the device will automatically search for connectable wireless network.
  2. Bluetooth: After turning on Bluetooth, click to search new device, the device will automatically search for connectable Bluetooth devices. Connect Bluetooth speakers and Bluetooth headphones only.
  3. Memory: You can check the running memory of the device and the average memory usage of each application.
  4. Applications & notifications: You can view recently opened applications, and view notification permissions, etc.
  5. Battery: You can set the smart power saving mode to check the power usage.
  6. Display: You can set brightness, night mode, wallpaper, sleep time, screen rotation, font size, font style, screensaver, etc.
  7. Sound: You can adjust the volume of media, alarm and notification separately.
  8. Storage: You can view the used storage and the storage space occupied by Apps.
  9. Security: You can set the lock screen password to encrypt and protect the data.
  10. Automatic shut-down: You can select for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes and never shut down.
  11. Google
  12. Timing on & off: You can set the time according to your needs. Once finish the setup, tap “Done at the top right of the screen.
  13. System:
  14. Language & input: Click “Add Language”, select the corresponding language, press and drag to the first row, the system will automatically set the language.
  15. Date & time: The date and time can be updated automatically by connecting to the network, and also can be set manually. PS: The date and time can be automatically sync when you connect Wi-Fi. Otherwise, you need to set it manually: click “Automatic Date and Time and select “Off” to continue setting the date and time.
  16. System update.
  17. Factory reset: When you reset your device, all data will be cleared. Please make a backup before resetting.
  18. About device: You can view information about the player.

Video

  1. Find the video icon on the main interface and click it to select the video you want to play, and then choose to use the local video player or KMPlayer to open.
  2. Fast forward and rewind can be achieved by pulling the progress bar during playback.
  3. Click ” ” in the upper right corner to select “Stop” “Single” “Dub’
  4. Tap the screen to pause and play.

FM Radio

  1. Plug in the wired earphones, find the FM radio icon on the interface, click it to enter the FM radio function.

  2. The player will automatically search for radio stations.

  3. Click on the interface to adiust to the next or previous channel. Click ” V5
    Click “ ” on the interface to adjust the channel by selecting up and down.

  4. Click “ ” on the interface to collect the channel being played.

  5. Click “ ” in the upper right corner of the interface to select to start FM recording and FM recordings library.

  6. Click “ in the upper right corner to select to play via headphones or speaker.

  7. Click “ ” in the upper right corner to search for radio stations automatically or select the radio stations that have been searched.

Music

Find the music icon in the main interface.

  1. You will see “ ” . Enable to choose the desired classification. There are artists, albums, songs, playlists.
  2. In the music playback interface: click “ ” to play or pause.
  3. Click ”  ” to play the next or previous song.
  4. Click “ ” to view the music being played and enter the playlist.
  5. Click “ ” to set the music loop.
  6. Click “ ” to set the repeat mode.
  7. Click to select shuffle playback, add to playlist, delete, sound effects(can set equalizer), music library.
  8. Click to quickly find music.

Sound Recorder

  1. Find the sound recorder icon on the interface and click it to enter the recording function.
  2. Click “” to start recording.
  3. Click “It to pause the recording.
  4. Click “” to end and save the recording.
  5. Click “ ” to set sound quality: High, Medium, Low.
  6. Click “ ” to view the recording file.
    [ Attention ] The recording format is WAV and MP3.

Gallery

  1. Find the gallery icon on the main interface and click it to view the imported or downloaded images.
  2. When the current picture is being displayed, click “ ” in the upper right corner to select to delete, slideshow, edit, crop, set picture as, details, print (must connect to computer with data cable when printing).
  3. Edit: Select the picture to be edited. There is a “ ” icon. After clicking,you can select the filter, picture border, crop, color, etc. After editing the picture, click “Save” in the upper left corner of the screen to save it. If you need to go back, you can click the return icon at the top of the screen.

Camera

Find the camera icon on the main interface.

  1. Click “ *” in the lower left corner can set camera exposure, framing mode, white balance, picture properties, flash, delayed shooting, face recognition, automatic scene detection, photo size, sound recording, video quality.
  2. Click to confirm that the photo is taken and automatically saved.
  3. Click “  ” to switch to video shooting, click “ ” to pause shooting, Click “ ” again to automatically save recorded video.
  4. Click “ ” in the upper left corner to switch to panorama mode.
  5. Click “ ” to begin portrait beautification mode.

Calendar

  1. Find the calendar icon on the main interface, click it to view the current date.
  2. Click “ ” at the top right corner of the screen to add new events in the selected date, search the date when the event was created, clear events, go to the specified date, settings.
  3. Settings: Click to enter, you will see the general settings option, which can be set as needed.
  4. Click on “ ” at the top right corner of the screen to go to the current date.

Clock

  1. Alarm clock: Set the alarm time according to your need. Click “ ” to add alarm. Click ” ” in the upper right corner to set the alarm time, alarm volume, etc.
  2. Time: Click “ ” to select the time zone that needs to be added. Click “ ” to set the clock style and automatic home clock.
  3. Countdown: You can set the countdown time according to your need. After setting the time, click “ ” to start the countdown.
  4. Stopwatch: Click “ ” or the circular area on the screen to start or pause the timing. Click “RESET” to restart the timing. Click “SHARE” to share the timing results.

File Management
Find the file management icon on the main interface.

  1. You can view the files in the computer or TF card, and click the target file to open the corresponding file.
  2. Click on the music, video, picture, etc. in the target file, then you will enter the corresponding function interface.
  3. You can create new folders and search for files.
  4. Long press the file can achieve “copy” “cut” , “share” “delete” “rename, “view details” and other functions.

TF Card Instructions
Equipped with TF card expansion card slot, can put videos, pictures, e-books, etc. into the memory card. When using, insert the memory card correctly according to the instructions, and push in until you hear a “click” sound. When taking out, please push it into the slot, and then release, the memory card will be automatically ejected, and then take it out.

Notice

  1. Please insert the card into the card slot of the device correctly.
  2. Please do not remove the memory card when operating such as reading, copying, etc., otherwise the data may be in error.
  3. Avoid using and storing memory card in high temperature and high humidity environments.
  4. Keep memory card away from liquids and corrosive materials.

FAQ

  1. The computer does not display the USB symbol when transferring files.
    A: Since the device is 64-bit Android system, the computer cannot display the USB symbol. However, you can open “Computer” or “My Computer” in your computer to view the disk name “AGP-TO6” and continue the transmission.

  2. The computer reminded that the format is not supported during the transmission of files.AePrEK-T06S-MP4-Music-Player-fig- \(40\)
    A: Due to system reason, some formats may cause the computer to pop up “format not supported” window when transferring files. In fact, they can be supported. When this window pops up, please select “Yes” and “Execute the operation on all files”. The transmission will continue without appearing this window.

  3. The navigation bar will disappear after open some applications.
    A: When the navigation bar disappears, you can check whether the navigation bar is hidden. Steps: Settings > Navigation bar > Hide navigation switch, and select Close. If there is no problem in the navigation bar setting, you can pull down from status bar to open the notification bar, and the navigation bar will be appeared. You can choose to exit and return.

  4. Some video formats can not be opened in the built-in video software.
    A: The built-in video software of this device has limited decoding capability. It can download third-party video software for playback. In addition, files in rmb format are copyright protected, so this device cannot support this format.

  5. The memory card is not recognized by the music player; can’t insert the memory card into the music player.
    A1: The music player only supports memory cards in “FAT 32” format. You can check whether the memory card is in “FAT 32” format on the computer.
    A2: You can buy genuine Kingston or SanDisk TF cards.
    A3: Some music players have deep card slots, and you may use a fingernail or a hard gadget to assist in inserting the memory card.

  6. How to play the music of the music player on car audio?
    A1: It’s recommended to use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to transmit audio.
    A2: The USB cable that comes with the music player only has the function of charging and transmission, without audio function.
    A3: It’s not recommended to connect the car audio via Bluetooth, thereV will be an incompatibility.

  7. Song files and audiobook files messed up.
    A: When naming, it’s recommended to rename songs in numerical or alphabetical order, for example, for 1000 songs, name them “0001+Song Name to 0999+Song Name

  8. The music player can not search for Bluetooth devices or can search for Bluetooth devices but keeps showing connection failure.
    A1: It is necessary to check if the Bluetooth function of music player and Bluetooth devices is turned on. If so, please search for pairing.
    A2: Check if the Bluetooth device is in pairing state, if so, please disconnect it first, and then re-search for pairing.
    A3: Check if the music player has been connected to multiple devices before. If so, you can delete them all, and then reconnect.
    A4: Check if the Bluetooth version of the Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth speaker is above 2.1. Sometimes if you can’t find it, it may be because of incompatibility.

  9. Frequent disconnection and reconnection after successful Bluetooth connection.
    A1: First of all, please confirm the use environment of the music player. If it is used in close proximity to other 2.4G signal sources or under obstacles, such as indoor wall penetration, signal base stations, routers, high-speed rail, subway, etc., it will be interfered by the signal and thus cause disconnection, and you can try it in an open place.

Notes On Battery Charging
