When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

- Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit the outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

Intended Use
- This product is intended for opening cans with rims, bottle caps and sharpening knives and scissors.
- This product should not be used to open cans designed to open by another method, such as a pull tab, peel-off foil seal, or rolling key. This product cannot be used to open rimless cans or cans with angled corners.
- This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
- This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
Check the product for transport damages.

Keep any packaging materials away from children -these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Operation
Connecting to power
- Pull out the power cord to its full length from the cable storage (H) compartment. t Connect the polarized plug (I) to a power outlet.
- After use, unplug and stow the power cord in the cable storage (H) compartment.
Opening a can
- Raise the blade bracket (Fl enough to wedge the can between the cutting blade (C) and drive wheel (D). The top of the can rim should be in contact with the locating post (B).
- Press the blade bracket (Fl down all the way to pierce the lid and start the cutting process. Once the bracket is pushed, the motor starts rotating the can.
NOTICE For cans weighing more than 18 oz (510 g), hold the product steady to prevent the product from tipping over.
- When the can is opened, the product stops automatically. To remove the can, hold it with one hand and raise the blade bracket (Fl with the other hand.
CAUTION
- Risk of injury!
The cut edges of a can and lid can be sharp. Avoid touching these parts when removing them from the product.
- Remove the lid from the magnet (A).
Tips
- If there is a dent in the rim of a can, open the other end or start the cutting action just beyond the dent.
- Cans with heavy seams, uneven rims or odd shapes may cause the product to stall. If this occurs, turn the can slightly by hand to aid the cutting action.
- Do not operate the product continuously for more than 1 minute. After opening 9-10 cansconsecutively the product must cool down for at least 5 minutes.
Opening a bottle
CAUTION

- Unplug the product before using this function.
- Align the edge of the cap to the top of the bottle cap opener (E).
- Push the bottle downwards to lift the cap off the bottle.
Sharpening blades
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
- Unplug the product before using this function.
- Hold the product steady with one hand.
- With gentle force, use the other hand to pull the blade of a knife or scissors through the blade sharpener (G) from the base to tip 2 to 3 times. For best results, sharpen the entire blade length in one continuous stroke carefully pulling the blade through the slot.
- Wipe the blade clean using a soft, slightly moist cloth.
Cleaning and Maintenance

- To prevent electric shock, unplug the product before cleaning.
- During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
Cleaning
- To clean the blade (C) remove the blade bracket (F) from the main body and wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Dry the blade (C) after cleaning.
- To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, or metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
- Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by an authorized service representative.
