RX5 XR1500 Remington Head Shaver
To get the most from your product and to avoid damaging it please read the instruction manual.
CARE FOR YOUR SHAVER
Care for your product to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend that
you clean it after each use.
When cleaning your shaver, make sure it is turned off and disconnected from
the charging adaptor cord.
Safety Mode & Jammed Heads
If the product has not been cleaned as per the instructions and it appears to
have stopped working, it may have entered safety mode.
SAFETY MODE
Your head shaver will turn itself off and enter safety mode if the demand on
the battery is too high. This can be because of inadequate cleaning or
excessive hair dipping’s in the hair pocket.
If this occurs, open and clean your shaver. Once cleaned, connect it to the
charging adaptor and then to the mains for a few seconds. This will reset the
safety mode and you can then unplug and continue to use the device as normal.
If it still does not run, then shaving debris may have compacted in the
cutters.
If this happens, try the following method to clear:
Remove the cutter head, soak it for 60-minutes in warm soapy water then …
If it runs, then do an extended deep clean and use the brush to remove as much
debris as possible then air dry
If it does not run soak overnight, then use pliers to gentle rotate the
cutters until they feel free. Test the unit then try to run. If it runs, do an
extended deep clean and use a brush to keep clearing the cutters before air
driving.
Once free, please follow the normal cleaning instructions.
