Product Usage Instructions
Registration and Software Update:
- Tap the application icon on the home screen to launch it.
- Tap Login to enter the login interface of diagnosis software.
- If you are a new user, tap New Registration to enter the sign-up page.
- Fill in the required information and tap Register.
- Input the 12-digit Product Serial Number and 8-digit Activation Code, then tap Activate.
- Navigate to the update center to update all available software.
Subscription Renewal:
If the software subscription is due or expires, follow these steps to
renew:
- When prompted, tap Renewal on the bottom of the screen.
- Choose the payment method: PayPal, Subscription Renewal Card, or Credit Card.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction.
- After payment, go to the update center to update the diagnostic software.
TPMS Module Usage:
To use the TPMS module with the LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE, follow these steps:
- Ensure you have the compatible X431 TSGUN device (sold separately).
- Configure the tablet as a TPMS activation & diagnostic tool.
- Use the module to trigger TPMS sensors, program TPMS sensors, and perform relearning procedures.
Extension Function Modules:
The LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE supports various extension function modules that
can be purchased separately. These modules include Toolbox, ADAS
(Calibration), TPMS, Oscilloscope, BST360 (Battery Tester), S2-2 Sensorbox,
S2-2 Multimeter, Immobilizer Programmer, Videoscope, and more.
Resetting the Tablet:
To reset the tablet, follow these steps:
- Tap Setting on the home screen.
- Select System.
- Select Reset options.
- Select Erase all data (factory reset).
- Select RESET TABLET.
- Select ERASE EVERYTHING. The tablet will restart after a few minutes.
Changing Language:
The LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE supports 25 languages. To change the language,
follow these steps:
- Tap Setting on the home screen.
- Select System.
- Select Language & input.
- Select Languages.
- Select Add a language.
- Search for the desired language or scroll to find it.
- Add the language by long-pressing the button on the right and dragging it up.
- After changing the language, update all the software. If you encounter any issues, kindly provide the S/N of the device for assistance.

Q:How to register and update the LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE?
- A:Follow the steps below to proceed registration and update:
- Tap the application icon on the home screen to launch it, and then tap Login to enter the login interface of diagnosis software.
- A. If you are a new user, tap New Registration to enter the sign-up page.
- Fill in the information in each field (Items with * must be filled). After inputting, tap Register, the following screen will appear:
- Input the 12-digit Product Serial Number and 8-digit Activation Code (can be obtained from the password envelope), and then tap Activate.
- Tap OK to navigate to the update center to update all available software.
- After the registration is successfully complete, the wireless communication between the tablet and the VCI device is automatically established and user has no need to configure it again.
- B. If you have registered to be a member, input your name and password, and then tap Login to enter the main menu screen directly. Note: The tablet has an auto-save function. Once the username and password are correctly entered, the system will automatically store it. Next time you login the system, you will not be asked to input the account manually.
- C. If you have created a sub-account or bound an existing account to the tool, tap Technician login to login.
- D. If you forgot the password, tap Retrieve password and then follow on-screen instructions to set a new password.
Q:How to Renew Subscription for LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE?
A:If the software subscription is due or expires, the system will prompt you
to renew your subscription. Tap Renewal on the bottom of the screen to enter
the payment screen. There are three ways available for you to make payment:
PayPal, Subscription Renewal Card (*need to buy it from the local dealer where
you purchased the tool) and Credit Card.
Using PayPal
- Select PayPal, and then follow the on-screen instructions to finish the transaction.
- After payment, go to update center to update the diagnostic software. 2. Using Subscription Renewal Card
- Select Subscription Renewal Card.
- Input the 24-digit pin code of Subscription Renewal Card and then tap Submit to finish the renewal.
- Go to update center to update the diagnostic software.
Using Credit Card
- Select Credit Card, and then follow the on-screen instructions to finish the transaction.
- After payment, go to update center to update the diagnostic software.

- A: This module allows you to configure the tablet as TPMS activation & diagnostic tool, which provides the ability to trigger TPMS sensor, program TPMS sensor, perform the relearning procedure. It needs to work with the compatible X431 TSGUN device (sold separately).

Launch the browser and the default official Launch website opens (If a blank page pops up, just type in www.x431.com in the input bar).

Q:How to reset/retrieve the password?
A:
- If you forget the username or password, tap “Retrieve Password” to get your username or reset the password.
- Input device serial number, and the device obtains username and your email automatically.
- Tap “Get verification code by email”, you will be sent a verification cod e by email, and enter the code.
- Set a new password, the password length needs 8-20 characters, contra in characters and numbers, and cannot contain sensitive words, cannot be consistent with username.
