Half Face Respirator

Product Information

The Half Face Respirator is a protective device designed to filter out harmful contaminants from the air. Before Use

Use Instructions

1. Follow the instructions and restrictions provided during use. Improper use may reduce the effectiveness of the respirator and lead to illness or death.
2. Receive proper training on the correct use of the respirator before using it.
3. If you smell or taste contaminants, experience dizziness, suffocation, or any other distress, leave the contaminated area immediately.
4. Store the respirator away from contaminated areas when not in use.

Use Limitations

1. This respirator does not supply oxygen. Do not use it in environments with less than 19.5% oxygen.
2. Do not use the respirator if the type or concentration of pollutants is unknown, or if it exceeds the protection object or concentration range of the respirator.
3. Do not alter, abuse, or misuse the respirator.

Assembly Instructions

1. Align the cartridge or filter notch with the facepiece mark.
2. Turn the cartridge or filter 1/4 turn clockwise until it stops. To remove the cartridge, turn it 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
3. Repeat the above steps with the second cartridge or filter.

Cleaning

1. Remove the cartridges and/or filters from the respirator.
2. Clean the facepiece (excluding filters and cartridges) by immersing it in a warm cleaning solution. Do not exceed a water temperature of 120°F. Scrub with a soft brush until clean.
3. Rinse the facepiece in fresh, warm water and allow it to air dry in a non-contaminated atmosphere.
4. Store the cleaned respirator away from contaminated areas when not in use.

Warm Tips

1. The respirator itself does not have a smell. However, some individuals may be more sensitive to odors. You can clean the facepiece (excluding filters and cartridges) to eliminate odors or place it in a well-ventilated area to reduce any peculiar smell.

Tightness Test

1. Put the headband rack on the back of the head, pull back the buckle of the elastic band,and make the respirator buckle the mouth, nose and chin.
2. Pull the lower elastic band to the back of the neck, tighten the fasteners and adjust the length of the elastic band to make the face comfortable.
3. Breathe vigorously, check the leakage between the respirator and the face, and adjust to the ideal state.
4. If the sealing state is not ideal, do not enter the contaminated area, and re-adjust or replace the respirator

Cleaning

1. Remove cartridges and/or fillers.
2. Clean facepiece (excluding filters and cartridges). By immersing in warm cleaning solution, water tenperature not to exceed 120’F. and serub with soft brush until clean.
3. Rinse in fresh.warm water and air dry in non-contaminated atmosphere.
4. The cleaned respirator should be stored away from contaminated areas when not in use.

Attention

1. The cartridge or filter should be changed regularly according to the operating environment.
2.  The respirator should be cleaned and maintained regularly.
3. Check before using each time to ensure its function is intact. If it is damaged, it should be discarded immediately.
4. The respirator should be kept in a ventilated and cool place to avoid the environment of high temperature, sunlight, high humidity and ultra-low temperature
5. The filter shall be kept in a sealed package, and the validity period of the filter in an unopened state is 5 years.

Warm Tips
