A DAC Amp combo that truly satisfies.
Technicality. The heart, ES9068AS *2, with days and days of tweaking and
tuning, achieved unprecedented clarity and un- matched musicality.
Design. Gorgeous from every angle. It won the Red Dot Design Award and the
Golden Pin Design Award. Performance. As usual we maxed out the the components
we use, having 0.00002% harmonics distortion. Plus, it has our greatest NFCA
headphone amplifier built in.

- Bluetooth input supports SONY LDAC high-resolution audio, and wireless input liberates the audio source and facilitates use.

Plug and play turn your PC into a HIFI source
DX5 has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10 or above, MAC, Linux, IOS, Android can be plug and play. DX5 uses 2nd generation 16 core XMOS XU216, USB supports up to PCM32bit768kHz, DSD512 native and MQA full decode.
- MQA can be fully approved and authenticated in the studio
- After capturing the recording, MQA folds the file to make it small enough to stream. It is called “Music Origami.
- MQA will play back on any device to deliver higher than CD-quality. When paired with an MQA decoder, the MQA file reveals the original master recording.

Products with a full MQA Decoder, like DX5 DAC, unfold the file to deliver the highest possible sound quality. At this level of playback you are hearing what the artists created in the studio – with precise file and platform-specific DAC compensation and management.

Full MQA Decoding
Topping DX5 includes MQA technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio
files and streams through all major inputs (including USB, Coaxial, and
Optical) delivering the sound of the original master recording. MA’ or ‘MQA:
indicates that the product is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file and
denotes provenance to ensure that the sound is identical to that of the source
material. ‘MQA.’ indicates it is playing an MQA Studio file, which has either
been approved in the studio by the artist/producer or has been verified by the
copyright owner.
“OFS or OrF confirms that the product is receiving an MQA stream or file. This
delivers the final unfold of the MQA file and displays the original sample
rate.

Bluetooth transmission
LDAC 24bit96kHz Bluetooth transmission
DX5 has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC. It uses newest QCC5125 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/ АРТХ/APTX LL/APTX HD protocol. To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, we abandon the built-in DAC of QCC5125 and connect it’s digital signal to 2 x ES9068AS to decode.
Built-in NFCA Headphone amp
The new DX5 has the NFCA circuit optimized for this unit, giving the ultra low noise and distortion. It pairs with high sensitivity IEMs and power hungry high impedance headphones nicely.
