ON: push power button to ON position

    REC **

Recording: when device is ON, just press REC, it records, indicator light blinks Pause Recording: when recording, just press PLAY, it will pause. Press PLAY again to resume.
Save Recording:** when recording, press STOP, save the recording

  • Play/Pause
    PLAY

    At the status of Record / Music, press PLAY to playback, press PLAY again to pause

    While playback, press UP/DOWN to change audio track Press and hold UP/DOWN to fast forward/rewind

    When playing, press STOP, it will stop play Press STOP again, it will return In menu options, Press STOP, it will back to up level

  • **Recorder

** Select Recorder menu, press M button to enter it. Select Recordings library and press M button to enter the recording files list. Then Press M to play the recording.

  • **Record Set

** At Menu options, select “RECORD”, press M to enter recording set.
Press UP/DOWN to select, and press M to confirm and enter selections.
We can set record from, record format, record bit rate, record gain, monitor record, Voice Activation Mode, Sectional Record, Auto Record, Indicator Light ON/OFF, Noise Cancellation Level

  1. Record From
    The device has 2 recording resource

  2. Microphone: record from built-in microphone, or external microphone

  3. Line-in: recording from line in audio cable

  4. Record Format
    It can set at WAV or MP3 format

  5. Record Bit Rate WAV format, support 512Kbps. 768Kbps. 1024Kbps 1536Kbps for choice MP3 format support 32Kbps. 64Kbps 128Kbps for choice

  6. Record Gain Record
    gain has 7 level, the higher level, the more sensitive, and record further distance.

  7. Monitor Record Select ON and press M button to turn on the recording monitor, plug in the headphones when you record you can hear very clearly in the headphones you are recording sound.

  8. AVR Voice Activated Record
    It has 7 level for choice, the higher level, the more sensitive

  9. Sectional Record
    It can choose from OFF, 30min, 60min, 90min, 120min

  10. Auto Record
    The device support auto record, set correct system first, and then set start time, end time, repeat cycle.
    The device will automatically recording as schedule
    Notice: keep power button at ON position, in order to let auto record works properly

  11. Indicator Light
    The indicator light can turn ON/OFF

  12. Denoise Level
    Denoise has 4 options: OFF, level 1, level 2, level 3.
    The higher level, the better denoise effect
    Notice: when denoise function is ON, it records at mono audio

  • Playback Settings

When playing, press M button, it can delete one file or all files; enter Play Mode Settings, Repeat Settings, Sound Settings.

  1. Delete One: Delete current file.

  • Music Play

Select the Music menu, press the M button to enter, the list will display all songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, update playlist options

  1. Playlists
    The recorder comes with three playlists, so you can put the music you listen to often into them.

  2. How to play music files in various formats on the recorder:
    Firstly, connect your recorder to your computer, then create a new folder on the recorder’s disk. Put many formats music files such as MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC and OGG into it.
    Notice: Please do not put these music files in the ‘RECORD’ folder, as it only supports MP3 and WAV formats. Secondly, open the recorder, select the Music menu, select all songs, you will see your downloaded music files, press M button to play, PLAY button to pause or continue playing.

  3. Add music to or remove music from the playlist Select All Songs> Select the song you want> Press M to play> Press M again and select Add to Playlist> Select any one of the three playlists> Press M and select Yes> Press M to add successfully.

If you want to remove the music file from the playlist:
Press M while playing a music file > select Remove From Playlist and press M > select one of the three playlists and press M > select Yes and press M. The removal is successful!

Update Playlist
Press M button to refresh your playlist.

System Setting

  1. **Sleep Timer

When this is ON, the device will turn off compulsory. It can select from 10min to 120min
Notice: Please do not turn on the sleep timer when there is an important recording, so as not to miss important things**

  1. Power Off
    Power saving shutdown. Set the device to automatically shut down after 1 to 30 minutes of inactivity. Selecting 0 means the device will not shut down due to inactivity.

  2. Backlight Timer
    It can select 10s, 20s, 30s, or always ON

  3. Backlight Brightness
    Press VOL+/VOL- to adjust display brightness Then press the MENU key to set successfully

  4. Date and Time
    Enter “Settings” >> press the UP/DOWM button to find”Date & Time Settings”>>Time Setting / Date Setting >> Press UP/DOWN for select, VOL+/VOL- to adjust. >>Press M button to confirm.

  5. Language
    Support English, Spanish, French, Italian, etc., a total of 28 languages

  6. Password
    Please turn on the voice recorder, enter into Recorder : enter into Settings>>> user the up/down button to find “password settings”>>>password switch>>>password on >>>set password>>> input your password.>>Press the M button to display ‘Password Change’, indicating that the password is successfully set!
    Notice: if password forgot, enter 181818 and press and hold STOP button to cancel password function

  7. Information
    Shows the player version and disk space

  8. Format Device
    Press M to enter, and select YES to confirm formatting device. Notice: backup files before formatting. Once file deleted, cannot restore

  • Connect to computer

To connect the device to your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the USB cable provided with your device.
  2. Insert the USB Type-C connector into the correspond ing port on the device.
  3. Connect the other end of the cable to an available USBport on your computer.
    Upon connecting, the device will power on automatically.If this is the first time connecting, your computer mayprompt you to install necessary drivers and recognizenew hardware. Once a new disk appears in My Computer, the connection is successful.

Here are some frequently asked questions about L357 voice recorder

  1. How to record and playback recording?
    First, please turn on voice recorder, simply push the power button (at left side) to “ON”position, the recorder will boot up. Press REC button to start a new recording. Press “STOP” button to save the recording after we finished recording. Press “PLAY” button to play the recording file, press the “Play” again to pause playing.

  2. How to fast forward/rewind when playback
    At playback mode, please long press the UP/DOWN button to fast forward or rewind.

  3. How to Adjust VOL+/VOL- ? In the playback state, short press the VOL button (don’t long press VOL key), and the upper right of the screen will display the current volume value.

  4. How to Turn ON Voice Activated Function
    Go to Recorder menu, find Record Settings, enter it -> Voice Activation Mode-> Voice Activation Switch -> AVR ON-> Press M button to Confirm. Then press the “REC” button to start recording, you will see the VOR label 15 appear next to the battery icon at the top right of the screen,it means you have successfully turn on voice activated recording function, press the STOP button to save recording.
    When AVR mode is ON, the recorder will enter voice activated recording mode, recorder can set voice decibels at 7 different levels , level 7 is the most sensitivity.

  5. The voice recorder can connect to a computer,but only charging not read the disk.
    I supposed that failed to connect may caused by the following:
    A) Firstly, please make sure you are using the included
    Type-C USB cable, as other Type-C USB cables may not be compatible. If you have tried to use the supplied Type-C USB cable and are still having problems, it may be broken or the USB socket is loose. so,please change another USB cable to try(like your android phone cable) or connect by another USB socket, or simply reboot your computer
    B) Please check if the recorder switch OFF when connecting with computer.
    C) Maybe something wrong with the device, if it is a quality problem, we can provide replacement during the warranty period.

  6. ) The recording from the recorder cannot be played on the computer.
    It seems that there is something wrong with the media player. Please use another media player to have a try,

  7. For Mac user, please download the free VLC Media Player to playback the recordings. ( Website: http://www.videolan.org/ )

  8.  For Windows user, please download the free VLC Media Player, or just choose”Windows Media Player” to playback.

  9. Memory is full
    The voice recorder has a limited storage ,when space is full, you can connect it to your computer and back up all the files, then delete all the recordings .

  10. How to Fix Disk Errors
    Disk error usually caused by following:

  12. cut off its power before device formatting finished We suggest you format the device on Windows if you can.Format the device in MAC should be strict accordance with the instruction.
    How to Rescue:
    Step 1, Turn off the device, connect it with computer
    Step 2, Backup all files to your computer and then format the recorder disk.
