INSTALLING THE WATER RESTRICT OR (LOWERS PRESSURE)
WARNING: If you choose to install the water restrictor, the high-pressure boosting capability of your shower head will be minimized. The water restrictor reduces your water flow to EPA required maximums.

INSTALLATION
- Remove old shower head from the shower arm.
- Clean the threads on the shower arm. There can be some residual thread sealing tape or mineral deposits on the arm, which can be cleaned off using mild soap and water 3 and/or an old toothbrush.
- Wrap the plumber’s tape around the shower pipe evenly for 4-5 wraps clockwise.
- Screw the new shower head onto the end of the shower pipe threads in a clockwise direction. Hand tighten only .
- Turn on the water and check for leaks. If leaks occur, shut off the water and tighten the shower head further.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM 1 Leaking at or near the ball joint.
Quick fix: Besides the connection to your shower pipe, there is also a
connection cap between your shower head and the ball joint. Tighten that
connection. Also, make certain the plastic PIVOT SEAT is properly seated
around the ball joint and that the rubber O-ring is seated properly.
IF YOU HAVE ANY LEAKS (and before you consider returning the product)
SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS BELOW:
PROBLEM 2 Loose angle or pointing straight down
Quick fix: If your shower head can’t maintain a desired angle, this means the connection cap is loose. Hand-tighten the connection cap. No need to use a wrench.
PROBLEM 3 Low water pressure or missing spray patterns.
Quick fix: Clean shower head in vinegar/water solution (See CLEANING & MAINTENANCE section) FURTHER: Clean the screened washer.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- To maintain proper working conditions, cleaning your shower head is required when mineral deposits appear on clean mineral deposits, gently rub the rubber nozzles on the face of the shower head to the spray openings. To dislodge.
- To clean heavier deposits on your shower head, remove shower head and soak face down in 1-2 cups of white (use white vinegar only) for about 2-3 hours.
- Do not clean or rinse any part with harsh chemicals, heavy duty cleaners, or abrasives; this may damage the parts or the finish.
