Overview

  • The IWS receives an input signal from the 3.5mm Line In shown above The IWS then sends the signal to the BT A-250 (sold separately) for amplification via a CAT 5/6 cable.
  • The IWS can be powered by either a CP2425 (sold separately) power supply that can be plugged into the front, or can be hard wired to the phoenix connector on the back of the unit.
  • By using a CAT5/6 cable, the IWS will utilize Earthquake’s HVBT (High Voltage Balanced Transport) to send the signal to the BT A-250 making it virtually immune to input signal noise. The CAT 5/6 cable can also send power from the BT A-250 to the IWS.
  • Note: Earthquake uses a proprietary CAT 5/6 port configuration. Configuration is available upon request.
