The product is a gas detector, model DETGAS02, designed to detect gases in the environment. It has the following specifications:

  • Response Time: 3W
  • Gas Sampling: Natural diffusion
  • GK401: For natural gas, with 10%LEL alarm value
  • GK601: For propane, with 10%LEL alarm value
  • Visual and Audible Alarms: 70dB
  • Weight: 300g

Product Usage Instructions

Follow the steps below to use the gas detector:

  1. Locate the terminals as shown in Figure 1.
  2. Ensure the ALARM light (red), FAULT light (yellow), and POWER light (green) are all functioning properly.
  3. If any of the lights are broken or not working, contact the distributor or the manufacturer for maintenance.
  4. If the preheating process is not finished, wait until it is completed. The detector cannot detect gas until preheating is done.
  5. If the detector fails to detect gas even after preheating is complete, move to an area with clean air and try again.
  6. If you encounter any problems or faults, refer to the troubleshooting section in the user manual or contact the distributor for assistance.

Description

Gas alarm is a type of wall-mounted household gas alarm designed to detect the concentration of combustible and toxic gases or vapors using high-quality air- sensitive components and manufactured with advanced technology. It emits visual and acoustic signals when the gas concentration reaches the preset alarm range, and reminds you to quickly take favorable measures. You can start other link equipment, open windows or turn off gas supply to prevent fire, explosion, suffocation or other malignant accidents.

Installation

  1. Fix the appliance on the wall at a horizontal distance of 2~4m from the kitchen or gas source;

  2. The vertical location of the appliance must be decided based on the type of gas:
    LPG: Fix it less than 0.3 meters from the ground; Gas natural: Fix it less than 0.3 meters below the roof:

  3. A. Near windows or steps with strong wind;

  4. B. Water vapor;

  5. C. High temperature near the oven;

  6. D. Covered by other things.

  7. Choosing a suitable installation method according to the above conditions. Installation 1: Choose a wall or a suitable place according to points 4.1 and 4.2. Fix the hanging plate to the wall with M5 or M3 screws through the screw hole
    (according to the following drawing, two types optional  φ5 and φ3), then connect the appliance with the hanging plate. Installation 2: Choose a wall or a suitable place according to points 4.1 and 4.2. Fix a nail (sizeφ2) on the wall. Hang up the appliance on the nail with the hanging hole as shown in the following drawing:GADNIC-DETGAS02-Detector-De-Gas-Envasado-fig-

Instructions for use

  1. Plug it in (if you need to connect a fan, solenoid valve or other equipment, connect the corresponding circuit first) and the green POWER light will turn on. The device stops working for 3 minutes while the sensor warms up. After warming up, the device enters the detection state.
  2. If the gas in the environment rises above the preset alarm level, the appliance will enter alarm status, the red ALARM light will shine and the buzzer will make an alarm sound. Meanwhile, the alarm will activate the relay or valve output. Immediately turn off the gas supply and open the window. Do not attempt to turn on or off any electrical appliances, including mobile phones and other communication tools. Please ask a professional to quickly eliminate the gas leakage malfunction (the alarm with gas shut-off valve function will output a shut-off pulse signal every 10 seconds).
  3. Once the gas concentration in the environment drops below the preset alarm level, the detector will automatically stop alarming and the fan will automatically stop. The detector returns to the detection state.
  4. If the yellow fault alarm light is on, it indicates that there is a problem with the detector and that it cannot detect any target gas. Contact the dealer.
  5. Button Operation:
    Test button: The device will simulate the alarm state by pressing the test button in the detection state.
