FAQs
Is it possible to change the size of the tube?****
Yes, you can cut the tube to fit the length you need.
Can I use this kit to clean the fish tank?****
Yes, it is a good tool to clean your fish tank.
Is there any other color for this product?****
No, only black.
Can I use this kit to clean my aquarium?****
Yes, it is a good tool to clean your aquarium.
Does it still function if the tank is on the floor? A 60 Gallon tank is also available. Will it work and does it matter?****
Yep, it functions. To replace the water, however, if the tank is on the floor, you must continuously press the blue ball. 1. Maintain a full tube of water. 2. Align the blue ball so that it is parallel to the ground and keep pressing it down until the water level is below the suction port’s water line.
Do I need to keep pressing the blue airbag button?****
It varies. Press the blue airbag continually if the tank is on the ground. If not, press it until the water comes out (you may then stop pressing, and the water will keep coming out).
Do you empty the tank before vacuuming?****
It is a device to aid in aquarium water removal. The instructions are displayed on the detail page.
Do you need a motor for the vacuum?****
Nothing seals correctly in this set since it is hot garbage, and as a result, it won’t function as intended. And no, using a motor with it is not intended.
What are the siphon’s (LxW) and the hose’s (Width) dimensions?****
The syphon measures 78 inches overall, 1.96 inches at the water exit, and 0.39 inches at the water input.
What serves as the “Connector” component? It features a spherical hole on the side as well as a flat end that is open for water to pass through. Why?****
The connection enables safe attachment of the additional equipment. Each of the attachments has a little button that is locked by the spherical hole. Every week I use the scrubber to remove algae from the front glass. The gravel cleaning syphon makes rapid work of water changes while the razor scraper removes snail eggs that appear to be glued to the glass. At the price, this bundle is a great value.
How do I use this item because there are no instructions in the package?****
The syphon to remove water from the tank is the only component of it that I have really utilized. You attached the long black rod to the end of the lengthy flexible hose that had the squeeze bulb on it, though I can’t remember how it was put together when it was delivered. On the other end of the flexible hose, I believe, is the component that is a transparent cylinder with a filter inside. You next insert the cylinder end of the tube into the tank, place the black, hard tube in a bucket or other container—whichever you choose—that is lower than the tank, and begin to squeeze the bulb. By doing so, the water will be suctioned out of the tank and start pouring into the bucket. The majority of the water will probably not be removed in this manner, though. Although the suction head end’s filter prevents large debris from entering, I consistently have a few smaller particles sucked up with the water.
When placed in a bucket, does it have a clip attachment?****
No, the tube is not that long, and a clip is not necessary.
