DEFINITIONS

* Master Code
The default master code is 123456.
Before pairing your lock in Tuya Smart App, please do not change the default master code.
Required for programming and feature settings. The default master code needs to be changed before programming. Property owner & manager should keep this information confidential!
Auto Lock
Automatically locks the deadbolt 5 seconds after unlocking. This feature is off by default. You can customize the Auto Lock time delay between 5 to 60 seconds
Key Unlock
Key Unlock is always available when the batteries are completely dead or valid User Codes are forgotten
Wrong Entry Limit
After 5 unsuccessful attempts at entering an invalid PIN code, the unit will shut down for 1 minutes.
Silent Mode
The beep sounds when pressing keypad and prompt voice can be muted
Passage Mode
Enable Passage Mode, the lock will stay Unlocked until it’s locked manually.
Low Voltage Alarm
When the voltage is lower than 4.7V.the red indicator light will continue to flash 5 times rapidly.
And prompt “low battery, please replace the battery”, can continue to unlock about 30 times, But mobile apps cannot control it.

NOTE: Please replace with 4 brand new AA alkaline batteries and do not mix used and new batteries.

* Unlock with Fake Code
User can prevent pin code exposure from strangers by entering random digits before or after pin code.
The total password length is with in 16 digits.

INSTALLING THE SMART LOCK

– Prepare the door and check dimensions
Check your door V frame dimensions to make sure that they fit the following gross bor

Notes: Make sure the door frame is aligned with the door. There are no obstructions stuck in the door frame.

Notes: If the direction of the slide switch is set incorrectly, it can be reset in App.
– Install interior assembly

* How to adjust door open direction left V right
Method 1. Touch to wake up the device, Command 6668881#,long sound “di” success
Method 2: Long press this button for 5 seconds and when you hear a sound “Di” success.
TIP: Above methods should be performed under initialization state.
Method 3 : If the direction of the slide switch is set incorrectly, it can be reset in Tuya Smart App.
TIP The device default is right open, if your door is ight open no need set open direction
° HOW TO RESET THE LOCK
(ALL fingerprints\/ padded\/ IC cards\/ Bluetooth data’s will be delete
Method 1: Press the random number key ta wake up the device, press 88B\8+ to verily the administrator, and voice” Initialization successful” 4 . (Defaults to 120456\ if there is , no administrator)
Method 2 : Screw cut the (F\G.) Screw, remove the rear panel assembly, revers the rear paw] and press the reset button at the lower right corner of the circuit board for A seconds,

Method 3 : 1\# Enter the menu after verifying the administrator, press 4 to restore the factory settings, and then press \# to confirm

Operation Instructions of Tuya APP
Brief Introduction and Download of Tuya APP
“Tuya Smart APP is the smart device management APP provided by Tuya to end consumers, through which you can conveniently configure and control your purchased whole-house intellectual products, configure your favorite scenarios and automation programs, share your smart devices with your family and friends, and enjoy the fun of a smart home.
Download APP: Search “Tuya Smart” in mobile application market or “App Store” or scan the following QR code to download.
This document takes Smart Life APP as an example and explains Tuya APP & Door Lock Panel Function in detail.

1 Registration and Login

APP Registration: If you don’t have an APP account, you can either register an account or log in via SMS authentication code.
Click “Create a New Account” to enter the account registration page. Follow the instructions to get the SMS authentication code and set the password.
If you already have an account, you can click “Login with Existing Account”, which supports password, authentication code or social account login.

II. Append Bluetooth Door Lock ( Bluetooth on cell phone must be on)

1. Click the “Add Device” icon on the home page of the APP.
2. Touch the fingerprint key or numeric keypad to wake up, wait for the phone to detect the device and press “Add”, then press the “+” icon to add the device. (If you have entered the administrator in the lock terminal, you need to open the “Network Configuration” in the menu of the lock terminal, for details, please refer to the following Article 4)
3. Wait for the device to be added, and the smart lock interface will appear, indicating that the device has been added successfully.

111. Bluetooth Door Lock Panel- Home Page

1. The lower side of the homepage contains “Door Open Records and Device Alarms”, “Member Management”, “Smart Applications” and “Settings”. The top side of the homepage displays the name of the door lock and the current battery status.
2. The center of the homepage will show the connection status of Bluetooth. If it is connected, you can slide right— to “unlock” to open the door lock directly, and slide left «—to “lock” the door. (Please make sure that the phone Bluetooth has been turned on, and the phone and the door lock is within a reasonable distance recommended within 5 meters to operate); If the Bluetooth is not connected, it will show ” Bluetooth can not be connected “, you can not open the Bluetooth door lock directly through the APP.

IV. Fingerprint or Password Management

1. Home page “Member Management” entrance—Select “Family Member Account” with corresponding privileges. Note: Associated administrators will have administrator privileges, while associated ordinary members will only have ordinary user privileges;
2. Click “Start to add”, the blue light will be on and it will enter the fingerprint collection interface, press the fingerprint, the green light will be on and you can release your finger. This process shall be repeated 5 times for each fingerprint, then the light will turn off and the fingerprint will be collected successfully.
3. Click “Add Password”, input 6-10 digits password;
4. Connect the door lock through APP Bluetooth, the administrator can collect fingerprints for himself/herself or other family members.

V. Member Management – Adding Administrators

1. Click the “+” icon in the upper right corner of the “Member Management” portal, select “Add Member”, enter the member’s name and Tuya account number, select the permissions and click save, then you can add the administrator. Note: (You must add the administrator account through the registered Tuya Smart account, otherwise it will not be able to add)
2. When you open the Mobile Tuya app, the account being added will receive an invitation message, and you will have administrative privileges of the device after accepting it;
3. All key information added to this account portal will default to administrator privileges.

VI. Member Management – Adding Ordinary Members

1. Click “+” icon in the upper-right comer of the “Member Management” portal, select “Add Member”, enter the member name, no need to enter the account number, click save, you can add ordinary member users.
2. All the key information added in this account will be defaulted to ordinary user rights;

VII. Deletion of Family Members

1. Click your “Family Management” at the bottom right comer of the App, select “Family”, you can delete the added family members or change the permission to use the app;

VIII. Door Opening Records and Device Alarms

1. Click the “Alarm” icon to view the door opening record and trial and error alarms and other information;
   Note: When the door lock is connected to the cell phone Bluetooth, the door opening records and alarms will be displayed on the APP in real time, otherwise, the records will be cached in the door lock local file, awaiting transmission when the door lock is connected to the cell phone Bluetooth and opened in the next time.

IX. Restore Factory Settings

Click the icon in the upper right comer of the home page, enter the interface to find “Remove Device”, select “Unbind and Clear Data”.

1. When the cell phone APP is connected with the door lock by Bluetooth, use the operation of restoring factory settings. All the opening methods of the door lock in local sever will be deleted, and the door lock will be restored to the default state when it was just  shipped from the factory, and other users can re-add the door lock through the APP.
2. When the cell phone is not connected to the door lock by Bluetooth, restoring the factory settings in the cell phone APP, the opening data of the door lock will still be retained and unaffected. However, the original unlocking data on the door lock will be invalid when other users can re-pair with the door lock through APP.

Instructions of Smart Lock

Terminal Local Operation
Any fingerprint, and the initial password 123456 are able to unlock the door when nouser is recorded. After registering the administrator key, the illegal key will not be able to unlock the door; if the administrator has been registered in the smart lock, it is necessary to verify the administrator key to enter the menu settings before adding and removing users again.

II. Operation of Adding Administrator

1. After entering the configuration operation, enter the fingerprints or passwords that need to be recorded, and the system will automatically assign the key serial number;
2. The valid digits of the digital password are 6-10 digits;
3. Each fingerprint shall be entered 5 times in a row, and each password shall be entered
4. times in a row;

III. Operation of Removing Administrator

1. Enter the number, press the “#” key to confirm, for example: “001” + “#”
2. The first group of administrator key will not be deleted;
3. After deleting the other administrators’ number, the system will replace the number automatically when you enter it again;

IV. Tuya App Binding Configuration

1. Before entering the administrator, press the fingerprint or password keypad to wake up the door lock, without opening this menu. You can directly open the cell phone APP and Bluetooth connection to bind according to the operation instructions;
2. The lock will be activated after the administrator is entered in the lock terminal, you need to verify the administrator and open this menu to connect and bind;
3. This menu will be hidden by default after the successful binding of your mobile APP.

V. Operation of Adding Ordinary Users

1. After entering the configuration operation, enter the fingerprints or passwords that need to be recorded, and the system will automatically assign the key serial number;
2. The valid digits of the digital password are 6-10 digits;
3. Each fingerprint shall be entered 5 times in a row, and each password shall be entered 2 times in a row;
4. After successful entry, you can continue to enter other “ordinary user” keys, please press the “*” key to return;

VI. Operation of Removing Ordinary Users

1. Enter the number, press the “#” key to confirm, for example: “001” + “#”
2. After deleting the other number, the system will replace the number automatically when you enter it again;

VII. Volume Adjustment Settings

1. Volume adjustment is a four-level selection: 1 for low, 2 for medium, 3 for high, and 0 for mute. Please select the number corresponding to the volume according to your needs

VIII. Unlocking Mode Settings

1. “Single Mode Unlocking” means that any one of the key information that has been entered can unlock the door;
2. “Combined Mode Unlocking” means that two different sets of key information need to be verified in order to unlock the door;

IX. Language Selection

1. Please press “1” for English, “2” for Portuguese, “3” for Spanish, and “4” for Chinese.
2. Please select the corresponding number according to your needs.

X. Opening Direction Options

1. Please press “1” to set left-handed door, and press “2” to to set right-handed door, the factory default is “right-handed door”, please select the corresponding number according to your needs;
2. Before entering the administrator, please press and hold the “One-touch Lock and Unlock” button for 5 seconds to switch the left and right directions quickly (invalid after entering the administrator);

XI. Door Magnetic Switch Options(Optional Products)

1. It is necessary to install the external wire door magnet first, and insert the interface into the rear panel terminal block;
2. Enter the system settings to select “1” to turn on the door magnet, press “2” to turn off the door magnet;
3. When closing the door, the door will be locked automatically when the door magnet senses it.

XII. Auto Lock

1. Please select “Auto Lock” function off or on according to your needs;
2. After turning on the “Auto Lock” function, please press the corresponding number to select the delayed time for auto lacking: (1) 5 seconds; (2) 10 seconds; (3) 15 seconds; (4) 30 seconds; (5) 60 seconds;
3. After turning on the “Auto Lock” function, the door will be locked automatically after unlocking;
4. When the door lock is connected to the wired door magnet sensor, the “Auto Lock” function will be turned off by default;

XIII. Restore Factory Settings

1. All data will be cleared after restoring the factory settings, and the default door opening direction is “right-handed”;
2. Input the number “888” + “#” to verify the administrator, you can quickly restore the factory settings;
3. When the administrator has been recorded, please press and hold the lock button on the rear panel for 6 seconds, and then press # to confirm to restore the factory settings. At this time, all the recorded fingerprints will be deleted, and the app will be unbundled automatically;

XIV. One-touch Lock and Unlock

1. Press the “One-touch Lock and Unlock” button on the rear panel to lock or unlock the door;
2. You can lock or unlock the door through the mechanical manual knob;
