Installation
Safety Instructions
Basic safety precautions should always be followed when installing, including the following:
- If you have any doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
- Suitable for indoor use only, this product must be connected to Earth.
- Disconnect the main power before installation.
- This product is only suitable for use in dry areas (not for constant moisture areas), not recommended for use in bathrooms.
- The chosen location of your new fitting should allow for the product to be securely mounted (e.g. to a ceiling joist) and safety connected to the mains supply (lighting circuit).
- If the location of your new fitting requires the provision of a new electrical supply, the supply must conform to the requirements of the latest edition of the IEEE wiring regulations.
- The luminaire must not under any circumstance be covered with heat insulating covers or similar materials.
