IPS 81750 Roof Flashing
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Select appropriate size flashing for each vent pipe through roof. Seal the underside of the flashing as shown below.
- Install flexible collar* over pipe.
- Push down until base lies flush on rooftop.
- Nail flashing only where future courses of shingles will cover.
- Shingle around the bubble of the flashing (cutting where necessary so all shingles are flat on the roof). The shingles should be installed at least halfway down the flashing base so there are no exposed nail heads.
CAUTION
Do not use petroleum base mastics, sealing compounds or paint on flexible collar portion or on plastic base of hard plastic base and all flexible roof flashings.
COLLAR HEAT RATING
- 180°F continuously
- 225°F intermittently up to 30 minutes
