L0001790-E Perilex

The Perilex plug can be connected to a Perilex socket and can, through a wired 3-position switch, provide the following modes of a DucoBox.

  • no DUCO components
Combination with DUCO user controllers and/or DUCO sensors is possible. The last action always prevails. When using demand control, it is obligatory to provide a user controller with a DucoBox Silent. With a DucoBox Energy or DucoBox Reno, position 2 of the switch corresponds to the ‘AUTO’ position.DUCO L0001790-E Perilex - overview 1

    1. LOW MODE (approx. 10%)
    2. MIDDLE (approx. 50%) or ‘AUTO’ MODE (10% to 100%)
    3. HIGH MODE (100%)

The notch in the DUCO power socket is at the top.DUCO L0001790-E Perilex -

ISSUES

If the power fails when inserting the Perilex plug into the Perilex socket, there has been a short circuit because the hook-up wires have not been connected properly.

  1. Check that the Perilex plug has been connected properly to the DucoBox PCB (see diagram on front).

  2. Properly connected wire colours in the Perilex socket do not guarantee correct operation. The switch wires in the switch itself may possibly be connected differently.
Check the Perilex socket using a multimeter / volt meter. The measured voltage for the different positions should correspond to the table below. Change the wires if this is not the case.DUCO L0001790-E Perilex - overview

  3. Put the Perilex plug of the DucoBox into the power socket and set it to position 1. The DucoBox should start normally.

If everything is connected properly and the problem still persists (supply outage when inserting the Perilex plug into the Perilex socket), it is possible that the PCB or Perilex plug is defective. If so, please contact DUCO.
