Mini Fall Sensor – FS418
This Fall Sensor is designed for a user to push the button for help at any time. It can also automatically activate an emergency alarm if it detects a fall in the event that the user is unable to trigger an alarm by pressing the button.
Usage Recommendation
- For best results, the Fall Sensor should rest at the center of the user’s breastbone
- Wear the Fall Sensor on the outside of all articles of clothing.
- Carefully place the Fall Sensor on a table or nightstand when you are not using it in order to avoid activating an alarm.
- The Fall Sensor may be worn in the shower (IP45).
Identifying the Parts

Emergency Button
Pressing the Emergency Button for 0.5 sec will activate the Control Panel, causing it to dial an emergency call or alarm (CID event code: 101). -

Lanyard
The length is adjustable using the sliding clasp on the lanyard. After adjusting the lanyard, ensure the Mini Fall Sensor rests high on your sternum/ chest. -
Battery Compartment Cover
1. When replacing the battery, ensure that the positive side (+) of the battery is facing outward.
2. After replacing the battery, press and hold the Emergency Button until you see the LED flash RED then GREEN.
3. After replacing the battery, it is recommended to press the Fall Sensor button and run a test of your equipment.

Low Battery Detection and Supervision
Fall Sensor features Auto Low Battery detection and Supervision.
When the battery voltage is low, the Mini Fall Sensor will automatically
transmit a recurring low battery supervisory message on a regular basis.
Note: Fall Sensors do not detect 100% of falls. If you are able to do so,
you should always press the button if you need help.
Testing
When testing, do not activate the Fall Sensor twice within a 10-second
interval.
