Plastica SSW LIN 07 Carousel Brake
Product Information
The Carousel Brake is a safety device designed to securely hold and control the rotation of a carousel. It is used to prevent the carousel from rotating when not in use or during maintenance. The brake is equipped with a wing nut for easy adjustment of the grip strength.
Product Usage Instructions

1. Before applying the brake, ensure that the Carousel is switched OFF. Locate the power button as shown in the picture below and make sure it is in the OFF position.

- Position yourself at the end of the reel, aligning the metal prongs on either side of the Carousel hook. Refer to the picture below for guidance.

Close the brake by pushing it towards the Carousel and tighten the wing nut to achieve the desired grip. Be cautious not to trap your fingers during this process. Avoid over tightening, as it may hinder proper material feeding.

Do not exceed the maximum weight limits specified in the attached label or manual. Refer to these documents for guidance on proper loading.

Avoid wearing loose clothing and keep your hands and hair clear when rotating the Carousel. This will prevent entanglement and potential accidents.

Only operate the Carousel Brake if you have received proper training or are under supervision. Do not attempt to use it without adequate knowledge or experience.

When applying brake, make sure Carousel is switched OFF as pictured button below

Position at the end of the reel, with metal prongs either side of the Carousel hook, as per below picture

Close brake and tighten wing nut for required grip as per picture. Take care not to trap fingers. Avoid over tightening as this will prevent material feeding correctly.

Do not overload the Carousel bars, refer to attached label/ manual for maximum weight limits.

Avoid wearing loose clothing, keep hands and hair clear when rotating the Carousel.

Do not operate unless fully trained or being supervised.
I have received the above training and fully understand every point that was explained to me. I confirm that I will wear the required PPE equipment when using the above machinery and take all steps to ensure my own safety. I will ask for further training if I need to and will immediately inform the Supervisor or Manager if there are any issues with the machinery.
