Safety instructions
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
WORK AREA SAFETY
- Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate machines in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Ma-chines create sparks that may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating the machine. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- Do not use any provisional electric appliances. Machine plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) machines. Unmodi-fied plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Do not expose machines to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a machine will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the machine. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- When operating a machine outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. The use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
- Always use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. The use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock. Before use, always check your RCD for function.
- Use extension cables that are intended for outdoor use and are protected against splashes of water. Extension cables up to 25 m need to have a cross-section area of at least 1.5 mm2. Risk of electric shock. Make sure they do not get jammed, or broken and the plug is not wet.
PERSONAL SAFETY
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a machine. Do not use a machine while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating machines may result in serious personal injury.
- Do not touch, inhale (dust development), or consume the cement or additive. Wear personal protective equipment. Protective equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, eye protection and hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to a power source or relocating the machine. Running machines invite accidents.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the machine on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the machine may result in personal injury.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the machine in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
- Keep adequate safety distance from the machine. Don‘t touch the running mixer drum. There is a risk of getting caught and injured.
MACHINE USE AND CARE
- Do not use the machine if the switches do not turn it on and off. Any machine that cannot be controlled with the switches is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source before:
- relocation and transport
- cleaning, checking, and maintenance
- failure removal
- Leaving (even in case of short interruption) storing.
- Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the machine accidentally.
- Store idle machines out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the machine or these instructions to operate the machine. Machines are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
- Maintain machines. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the machine’s operation. If damaged, have the machine repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained machines.
- Never operate a machine with missing, defective, or damaged parts, labels, or cables. Have defective machines been repaired immediately? Properly maintained ma-chines reduce the risk of injury.
- Use the machine in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the machine for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Do not modify the machine or any of its parts. Many accidents are caused by manipulated machines.
SERVICE
- Have your machine serviced by a recognized workshop using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the machine is maintained.
MACHINE SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS
- Do not operate the mixer unattended. as this may lead to accidents.
- Only fill and empty the mixer drum when the motor is running. to avoid damage to the machine.
- Do not change the motor speed. Excessive speed may damage the motor and all rotating parts.
- Move the concrete mixer only by manual movement. Falling Injury.
- Keep any equipment not being used in dry, frost-free, and locked locations. Damage to the machine injury.
- The machine shall not be operating when it is being moved.
- Position the mixer on level and stable ground. Unstable machines may tip over and cause injury and damage.
- Risk of trapping/entanglement! Do not reach into the drum interior to the rotating blades.
- Use only the original standard of insulation material for repair and maintenance of insulation distances.
- Disconnect the mixer from the power supply before opening the enclosure and do not operate it unless the enclosure is fully closed.
- Warning! Hazard of inhalation of fumes.

Add water and a couple of additive shovels like sand (1), gravel (2), etc. (see page VIII).
-
Add a couple of binder shovels (cement, lime, etc.).
-
Repeat points 1 and 2 until the required mixture ratio is achieved.
-
Let the mixture mix up properly.
See the right positioning of the drum:- Choose position I on the adjusting plate for mortar
- Choose position II on the adjusting plate for concrete
Intended Use
The concrete mixer has been designed to be used only outdoors and exclusively
for concrete and mortar production by persons over 16 years of age. Any other
use or modification to the machine not described in this manual, especially
working with flammable and explosive material or employment in food processing,
is considered as improper use and could cause considerable dangers. Improper
use will void any warranty claim.
Care & Maintenance
Before carrying out any work on the machine, disconnect the plug from the power supply.
-
Prior to every use, visually check the machine to rule out any defects, in particular on the power cable and the plug.
-
Never operate a damaged machine. Have it repaired immediately by a recognized workshop using only original spare parts.
-
Never clean the machine and its components with solvents, flammable, or toxic liquids. Lubricate regularly all moving metal parts with oil (e.g. wheels and rotary equipment).
Never lubricate the gear ring! -
Only a regularly maintained and treated ma-chine can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insuf-ficient maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.
Caution!
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a recognized workshop in
order to avoid hazards.
Transport/Storage
Before any transport, disconnect the plug from the power supply.
Turn the opening of the mixing drum downwards when transporting or before
storing. Before longer periods of storing, lubricate the rotary equipment with
an environmentally friendly spraying oil.
