Product Information

A plotter cutter is a machine designed for cutting various materials such as paper, vinyl, fabric, and more. It is equipped with a carousel that holds different tools like pens, punches, and dragtools to perform different cutting tasks. The machine has moving parts like belts and cutting blades, and it operates using a converter belt system.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Locate the red emergency stop buttons on the plotter cutter. These buttons are used to immediately halt the machine in case of an emergency.
  2. Always wear ear protection when operating the plotter cutter to protect yourself from loud noises.
  3. Refer to the maximum load per bar on the carousel to ensure you do not exceed the weight limit when loading materials.
  4. Identify the moving parts such as belts and cutting blades. Exercise caution around these parts to avoid accidents.
  5. Stand in the designated safe zone as instructed when the machine is running. This ensures your safety and prevents interference with the cutting process.
  6. Before changing tooling, ensure that the machine is turned off to avoid any accidents or damage.
  7. Ensure that the converter belt is free from any obstructions before running the machine. Make sure nothing is caught underneath it.
  8. Before changing the pen, punch, or drag tool, remove the blade from the plotter cutter.
  9. Keep your hands clear when rotating the carousel and be aware of pinch points when loading rolls of material.
  10. Consult the maintenance log for weekly and monthly checks to keep the plotter cutter in good working condition.
  11. Avoid wearing loose clothing while operating the machine to prevent entanglement with moving parts.
