Product Usage Instructions

Ensure that safety equipment is worn at all times when
operating the mobile hoist. -
Carefully unwind the chain from the frame.

Pull the chain up or down to the desired height and activate
the brakes. -
If lifting a mould from the machine, ensure that the load’s
weight, eye bolt, and shackle do not exceed the Safe Working Load
(SWL) of 1 tonne. Secure the load in the hook using both the
shackle and eye bolt. -
Lift the load clear of the machine using the lifting chain.
Once clear, lower the mould with the chain and place it on a
lifting load truck or pallet. -
If finished, take the mould away and return the hoist to its
location. If inserting a new mould, follow section 4. -
Do not use the machine unless trained and authorized by a
Manager/Setter.

1 Explain that safety equipment must be used at all times
and why safety boots must be used at all times when
running machines.
2 Carefully unwind the chain from frame.
3 Pull up or down chain to desire height. Activate brakes.
4 If you are lifting a mould from the machine, Ensure the
loads weight, eye bolt and shackle do not exceed the
SWL 1 tonne. Make sure the load is secured in the hook.
Using both shackle and eye bolt.
5 Lift the load clear of the machine using the lifting chain.
Once you are clear lower mould with chain and place
mould on lifting load truck or pallet.
6 Take mould away, take hoist back to its location. Or insert
new mould as section 4.
6 Do not use any machine unless trained and authorised by
Manager/ Setter
I have received the above training and fully understand every point that was
explained to me. I confirm that I will wear the required PPE equipment when
using the above machinery and take all steps to ensure my own safety. I will
ask for further training if I need to and will immediately inform the
Supervisor or Manager if there are any issues with the machinery.
