Plastica SSW PUMP 05 Clever Pool Energy Save Inverter
Product Information
The Energy Save Inverter is a device used for testing 3-phase motors. It is designed to improve energy efficiency and ensure the safe operation of the motor.
Product Usage Instructions
- Only trained personnel are authorized to follow this procedure.
- Remove four screws from the motor’s electrical box cover.
- Ensure that the Clever Pool energy-saving inverter is disconnected from the power supply.
- Connect the earth terminal at the base of the electrical box. Refer to the provided photo for reference.
- Connect the black wire to the U terminal, the blue wire to the V terminal, and the red wire to the W terminal. Tighten the brass nuts securely.
- Replace the motor electrical box cover.
- Plug in the Clever Pool unit and switch it on.
- Check that the unit is in manual mode, as indicated in the top right-hand corner.
- Set the RPM to 2850 using the up and down arrows.
- Push the run/stop button to check the motor function.
- If the motor turns in the wrong direction (check the arrow on the side of motor), switch off the unit, unplug it, remove the cover, and reverse the cable connections. Refer to the provided photos for guidance.

3| Ensure the Clever Pool energy save is disconnected from the power supply.|
4| Connect the earth terminal at the base of the electrical box. See photo
below:|
5| Connect the black to U, blue to V, and red wires to W terminals and tighten
the brass nuts.|
6| Replace cover.|
7| Plug in the Clever Pool unit and switch on.|
8| Check the unit is in manual mode. (Top right-hand corner) RPM is set to
2850 by use of up and down arrows.|
9| Push the run/stop button to check the motor function. If the motor turns in
the wrong direction (check the arrow on the side of the motor) switch it off,
unplug the unit, remove the cover, and reverse the cable connections.

Replace the cover, plug in the unit, and switch on. The motor should now be running in the correct direction.

10| Push the stop button to end the test. N.B. Do not run the pump in a
dry state for any longer than necessary.
11| Disconnect the Clever Pool unit from power.
12| Disconnect cables and replace the electrical cover.
