Symatoys Q12 Remote Control Boat

Symatoys Q12 Remote Control Boat

Main features

The boat will automatically be powered on when launched in water, and can be connected directly to the remote control.
The effective remote distance is up to 50 meters, otherwise the boat will be out of control.
The boat can be driven for about 20 minutes.
The boat does not have an automatic capsize function, so be careful not to capsize the boat or hit an obstacle when controlling it.
When the boat is operating, make sure there are no weeds and other debris to avoid tying up the propeller.
The navigation rudder needs to be adjusted manually.
Low-voltage alarm warning: When the battery runs low, the remote control lights will flash and sound a “Di di di” alarm. (When the alarm sounds, please sail the boat back immediately to prevent the boat from running out of power on the way back)
As the boat is equipped with an automatic on/off switch, you must lift the boat out of the water and remove the battery each time after use; and clean it with a dry soft cloth. (Notice: Do not place the boat in the water with electricity after use)

Safety Precautions

This product must be used under adult supervision and guidance. Not for children under 8 years. This is not a toy.
Please keep all small parts of the remote control boat out of the reach of children to avoid accidents.
Do not charge the battery immediately after use. Please wait until the battery cools down.
When sailing, make sure that there is no one in the water to avoid injury, and that there is no grass or debris on the water surface to avoid the propeller being entangled in the water or the model being damaged.
Never place any small part of the boat in your mouth as it could cause suffocation.
Please keep a safe distance from the high-speed rotating propeller to avoid the risk of strangulation or cuts.
Do not touch the motor as it is a heat-generating part to avoid the risk of burns.
Do not touch the battery as it is a hot part to avoid the risk of burns.
In order to ensure the electromagnetic environment of aviation radio stations, it is prohibited to use all kinds of model remote controls within an area with a radius of 5,000 meters, the airport runway as the center and the point as the center of the circle. Model remote controls shall not be used in the period and area where the relevant state departments issue radio control orders as required.
The packaging or the manual contains important information, which shall be stored properly.

Maintenance and repair

If the RC boat stops running, you must remove the battery.
Avoid exposing the surface of the model to long exposes of sunsight, to prevent paint stripping. Please clean the model with a dry soft cloth each time after use.
If the model is not in use for a long time, please remove the battery to avoid possible damage to the boat from battery Leakage.

After each use of the model, a dry soft cloth should be used to absorb the moisture in the hatch to ensure that the hull is dry and clean.

Functions of remote control components

Battery installation: open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Install 2 “AA” alkaline batteries (sold separately) into the battery compartment. Make sure the “+”and “-”ends of the batteries match the illustrations inside the battery compartment.

Battery charge of the remote control boat

The battery will take about 180 minutes to fully charge. The light on the charger plug will show red while charging and will go off when finished charging

BATTERY WARNING

Failure to follow all the instructions may result in serious injury, irreparable damage to the battery, and may cause a fire , smoke or explosion.
Always check the battery’s condition before charging or using it.
Replace the battery if it has been dropped, or in case of odor， overheating , discoloration, deformation or leakage.
Use only the supplied charging cable.
The battery temperature must never exceed 60℃(140°F) otherwise the battery could be damaged or ignite.
Never charge on a flammable surface , near flammable products or inside a vehicle ( preferably place the battery in a non flammable and nonconductive container ).
Never leave the battery unattended during the charging process . Never disassemble or modify the housing’s wiring , or puncture the cells. Always ensure that the charger output voltage corresponds to the voltage of the battery . Avoid short circuit between the charge leads.
Never expose the battery to moisture or direct sunlight, or store it in a place where temperatures could exceed60℃(drone in the sun , for example)
Always keep it out of reach of children .
Improper battery use may result in a fire, explosion or other hazards.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged . Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision .
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Regular examination of transformer or battery charger for any damage to their cord, plug , enclosure and other parts and they must not be used until the damage has been repaired.
The packaging has to be kept since it contains important information.

The toy is to be operated in water only when fully assembled in accordance with the instructions.

Remote control boat battery installation

Twist the cabin knob to the left and right and open the cover upwards.
Turn the inner cabin knob as directed and open the hatch upwards
Place the battery in the battery holder of the hull
Connect the battery to the power plug

Plug the battery into the RC boat and then into the battery holder. Be careful not to reverse the battery plug.
Insert the cover diagonally into the hull

Insert the inner hatch into the cabin at a 45 degree angle and then push forward, button up the inner hatch buckle, lastly insert the outer hatch into the cabin at a 45 degree angle and fasten the buckle.
Twist the cabin knob to the left/right until it snaps tight

For waterproof reasons, the hatch cover is designed to fit tightly and must be removed or closed with force correctly

Spindle tube oiling

Press down on the spindle rubber part and use a wrench to unscrew the set screw and then unscrew the propeller.
Remove the motor by unscrewing the four screws on both sides of the motor.
Pull the spindle a short distance towards the bow.
Squeeze an appropriate amount of lubricant into the end of the spindle tube and slowly pull it by rotating it back and forth so that the lubricant is evenly coated on the inner wall of the spindle tube.
Lock the four screws of the motor base
Press down on the spindle rubber part and fit the propeller, then fit the set screw with a wrench.
The battery cables should be lined up to the side of the boat so that the inner hatch cover is tight.
All plugs should be plugged in tightly.
Make sure the hatch is tightly covered to prevent leaks

Remote Control Guide

Turn on the power switch of the remote control, the power indicator will flash, then put the boat model into the water. If the power indicator is always on, it means the remote control and the boat model are successful in pairing.
If the remote control and the boat model are not successfully paired, the power light will flash.

Function operation

Navigation rudder: It can correct the navigation direction. When going straight ahead, it can be adjusted manually to the left when it is shifted to the left, and to the left when it is shifted to the right adjust.

WARRANTY

LIMITED 2-YEAR WARRANTY AND FREE LIMITED REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR 2-YEARS Symatoys.com.cn warrants to the original buyer only that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date upon which the product is shipped, either directly from symatoys.com.cn or from an Authorized Re-seller’s location, to the buyer.
The following condition’s must to be eligible for warranty coverage:

During the warranty period product is used as intended by the manufacturer.
The Product has not been disassembled or modified.
The labels and serial numbers show no signs of tampering or altering.
Buyer has a warranty code obtained by registering their product online prior to making a claim.

EXCEPTIONS: THE LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO:

Damage caused by normal wear and tear
Accident, negligence, abuse, misuse, misapplication or willful damage by buyer (or its agents), or acts of nature

LIMITED REMEDY:
Symatoys.com.cn ‘s sole liability, and buyer’s sole remedy for any breach of the foregoing warranty shall be at Symatoys.com.cn ‘s option to exchange the product with a new product or a refurbished product that is functionally equivalent to the original product, or issue a credit or refund to the purchase price the product.
