If your machine is too hot to touch, follow these steps to resolve:

Lower area of machine below dirt cup will become warm to touch during use or when on for a period of time – this is normal

Do not put hands down near the mop head while steaming
-
When finished, allow foot to cool for a few minutes before removing the pad
