The DuFa Vol.1.18A is an automatic watch, assembled by hand in Germany. It features a 29 jewel automatic self-winding movement produced in Japan, which ensures accuracy and functionality. The watch utilizes the natural motions of the wrist to generate power and run with precision.

Product Usage Instructions
Winding the Mainspring
In the A position, turn the crown clockwise up to 5-10 times to wind the
mainspring. Stop winding when you see the second hand start to move naturally.
Adjusting the Date
In the B position, rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
Note: When setting the time counterclockwise, the date hands may reverse. Reset the date by performing a date correction.
Adjusting the Time
In the C position, rotate the crown in both directions to adjust the time.
Ensure correct adjustment for morning or afternoon time settings.
Note: Do not set the calendar between 9:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M. during which the date will not change to the next day. Set the calendar after changing the time outside of this period.
Power Reserve Display
The mainspring provides a power reserve of approximately 40+ hours. The power
reserve indicator shows the remaining stored power in the mainspring. Note
that the actual available power may slightly vary due to usage and
environmental conditions.
Water Resistance
The watch is water-resistant, protecting the movement from dust, moisture, and
potential damage. Refer to the water resistance chart for recommended exposure
limits. Avoid adjusting the crown while in contact with water to prevent water
from entering the case and damaging the movement.

By using the natural motions of your wrist while the watch is being worn, the
rotor in the movement will generate power in the mainspring to run your
timepiece to an exacting level of accuracy.

Note: if you do not wear your watch frequently, you may need to manually
wind the mainspring until you see the second hand on the dial face start
running automatically.

Winding the Mainspring
In the “A” position, you may wind the mainspring of the movement by turning the crown clockwise up to 5-10 time until you see the second hand start to move naturally. -
Adjusting the Date
In the “B” position adjust the date by rotating the crown clockwise.
NOTE: When time setting is performed in counterclockwise, date hands reverses. Please reset by date correct -
Adjusting the Time
In the “C” position, adjust the time by rotating the crown in both directions. Be aware if setting the time in the morning or in the afternoon to adjust it correctly.
NOTE: Do not set the calendar between 9:00 P.M. and 2:00 A. If the setting of the calendar is made during this the date will not change to the next date. Pleas calendar after changing the time other than the above period.
POWER RESERVE DISPLAY
The mainspring if fully wound, generates a power reserve f approximately 40+
hours of normal use. The power reserve indicator is a useful at a glance
reference to indicate how much power remains stored in the mainspring.
Note that the numbers are for reference and actual available power may differ
slightly owing to varying conditions of use and environment.
As power is used and transferred from the mainspring and other movements are
generated the power reserve indicator will eventually wind to “O”.
WATER RESlSTANCE
The water-resistance of a timepiece protects the movement from dust, moisture, and risk of damage to the movement should it be immersed in water. Please see chart for guideline for recommended exposure of various water ratings. It is important not to attempt to adjust the position of the crown while the timepiece is in contact with water. Water can enter the case causing damage to the movement.
For timepieces with screw-down crowns, it is important ensure the crown is in
the proper position and completely docked before contact with water. For
timepieces with
chronograph functions, do not engage the chronograph under water, as water may
leak in the case and cause damage to the movement.
USE Precaution’s – Resistance TO WATER
All DuFa timepieces are designed to withstand use as indicated on the
following chart.
CARE AND PRECAUTlONS
Each DuFa timepiece is designed and manufactured to exceed the highest of standards. In order to ensure optimal performance and longevity from your timepiece, please revie the simple guidelines for care and precautions of your new DuFa timepiece.
CARE
Your timepiece should be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not submerge your
timepiece. Your timepiece should be rinsed clean and dried with a soft cloth
after any saltwater se. In order to maintain the “new look” of metal
bracelets, we recommend periodic cleanings of the bracelet. Dip a soft brush
in warm soapy water and gently rub bracelet clean. We advise having your
timepiece serviced every 18-24 months ensure long use and trouble free
operation.
Precautions
While your DuFa timepiece has been designed and built to exacting
specification, it is important to avoid the following conditions: extreme heat
or cold, as well as prolonged periods exceed your timepiece’s water rating
(see case back and chart). Never operate any of the function buttons or crown
when timepiece is in contact with water.
Avoid exposure to strong magnetic fields or sources of static electricity as
these may interrupt the mechanisms inside the watch. It is also important to
avoid extreme shock or impact.
TWO (2) YEAR lNTERNATlONAL GUARANTEE
Your DuFa watch is guaranteed for a period two (2) years from the original
date of purchase under the terms and conditions f the warranty. The DuFa
warranty covers materials and
manufacturing defects. A copy of the receipt or dealer stamp in the warranty
booklet is required for proof of purchase.
During the warranty period the watch movement, hands and dial are the only
components covered under this warranty. A covered component will be repaired
or the watch will be replaced free of repair charges, if it proves to be
defective in material or workmanship under normal use.

- Malfunction and deterioration from accident, negligence or tampering.

This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of
persons other than authorized DuF sales or services agents, unauthorized
service, or other
factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
REQUESTING WARRANTY AND OTHER WATCH REPAIR
Should you require work under warranty, please send in your watch, a copy of
your sales receipt and/or the warranty booklet with dealer stamp and a
description of the problem to the authorized international watch service
centre closest to you.
For service work that is not covered under this warranty, the service centre
may perform the services you request for a charge dependent on watch style and
type of work requested These charges are subject to change.

the authorized international watch service centre closest to you.
